I've always said that. But in both cases it's not focusing on the issues. When the head of the DNC or RNC says there's a big announcement you kind hope it's something of substance. But that's just my opinion as much as people here don't care for it.

People are going to be saying just what DAR is - why are they making a big deal out of a logo while the economy is tanking, etc. While I know that they can focus on more than one thing at a time, and unveiling a logo isn't a big deal, it was probably a stupid move from a PR perspective. It just makes them look out of touch - which I'm really starting to think is true about most people in Washington. I just don't think they live on the same planet as the rest of us. (Like the tax breaks for the wealthy - it should be a no-brainer to let those tax cuts expire for the wealthy - and yet, it's a major political fire-storm. Just crazy!)
