    That site is several times the size of the Everest site. Unless they laid out everything they used to build the mountain and village before putting them together, there is no way they would need an area that big. It's also still not all that close to the attraction itself, and it would be a lot cheaper and better long term to just use a corner of the parking lot for staging the construction. I know they would have trouble hiding it from guests, but it's not like they didn't show the world a steel covered hill, and the plain back wall just after it opened. It just seems like they went to a lot of effort to clear and level that area just for it to be a staging area for some construction that still is pretty far away.
