And in a lot of areas - the bathroom, the center patio, the balcony, the Frontierland room - it does. And I like that some of the more precious things are optional - you have to make them happen. This whole discussion, especially when someone brought up Vegas, reminds me of this long article I read, written by a French guy whose name escapes me. He was known as something of an arbiter of "good taste," and he went on about DL, WDW, and Vegas, and why he loves them for different reasons, even though many of his countrymen think they're gauche. I remember his line about Vegas (paraphrasing here): "My friend said to me about Las Vegas: 'This place is a joke!' I said 'Yes. Do you get it?'" I loved that.

Everything Disney is fake, too. Do we care? Heck NO! It's my happy kid place... Nothing will ever change that. All of the locations are for the amusement/entertainment of humans. Granted Las Vegas is quite different than Disney resorts, but they're all a means of escaping regular, day-to-day life.

Based on this quote, we could probably make some cause and effect observations. Instead, I'll just state that you were probably not ignored. I'd even guess that several people took the time to read your post.
