Perhaps. Having never seen it, of course, means that it would offer new experiences as opposed to a park I've been to many times before. But in all honesty, if I should somehow make a journey to Europe, or Japan for that matter, visiting a Disney park wouldn't likely be on my agenda anyway.

If DL keeps raising prices this much, it'll be less expensive to take a trip to Paris! ; )

Then that must mean Pakipsie, NY should be the breakeven destination point between affording DL and DLP.

Just look at "though," "tough," "trough," "through," and "thought." Five different sounds for "ough" with only minimal letter changes elsewhere.

I can't help it. I love that stuff.

Now, they will get $530 (plus food, etc.) every two years--or $265 each year on average--since we don't go every year anymore. They aren't thinking long term. OR, they don't care about the recession and that charging so much makes families go to their credit cards and take out loans just to go there.

Lulu said the same, then I convinced her to try it, and I think she was very glad she did. Design wise, it is beautiful, with nothing else like it (in terms of the traditional European craftmanship used).

I don't think that I'd plan s trip to either just to visit a Disney park, but if you're ever in Paris, I'd recommend trying to take a day to visit DLP (never been to Tokyo). But, yeah, I know where you're coming from. It would never be my highest priority.

It was a rushed day trip but at least enough to get a taste for it... Though I must confess that I am currently plannig a UK trip for next year which will include a 3 night side trip to Paris for the sole purpose of going to DLP and will probably just spend a few hours one evening in the city itself..

Dave.. My family always mock me for my ability to eat McDonalds in every country I travel to.. But the pineapple cups in Hawaii, the fried cheese pieces in Rome, the lack of mustard in Cheeseburgers in a number of nations.. It might be 'Macca's' but it's still a cultural experience!!

It would depend a lot on how much time I had. It looks amazing and if time and money were no issue, then sure. If I had 3 weeks, sure. But if I had only a number of days, I can't imagine visiting the place at the expense of missing out on other sites in the country.

I think it's time to turn in my Mickey Mouse Club card. LOL

And personally, I think the higher prices does the park some good. Right or wrong, it keeps out a lot of the riff-raff. All you have to do is attend a lower-priced six flags park to see the difference.
