Amazing. < actually Obama said the first major thing I agreed with him on yesterday - he said he wondered how people ( GOP and dems )- could give the president a blank check - then get up in front of people and act surprised when he cashed it ! the dems have a golden opportunity for the white house - it's theirs for the taking - let's see if they manage to take advantage or screw it up

This is why people stopped voting for them in the first place, and it seems they've not been able to figure it out for a few decades now. Bush actually did do things. He just did a lot of wrong things. But he did take action. Many people have said "Gore would have done nothing." And the reason they say this is because the Democrats never seem to want to do anything to help the people in this country.
