Each year, we all know basically how we´re going to end up on the list. <rolling eyes> My personal favorites were Israel, Croatia, Greece, Akebejan, France and YES... SPAIN!! When we all found out this song was going to Eurovision, it was a BIG disappointment. But little by little we all began to like it. It´s just one of those stupid, silly, meaningless songs that should stay in one´s country, not go to Eurovision!! Oh well, we weren´t going to win anyway regardless of our song!

Somehow I cant ever see us winning it again, not to mind three times in a row (92, 93 and 94). There was a always the kitch element to the show, but these days it's just got out of control. Where as once there was one or two questionable entries, now there seem to be only one or two non questionable entries. I was in the audience in 1993 when Niamh Kavanagh representing ireland won, it's a beautiful song, (barring the backing vocals) and show's how far downhill the whole thing has got. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HvFhyxwVNo" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...FhyxwVNo</a> It's also amazing to think that in 1993 25 countries were in it, now it's 43!
