Sure, it would be nice if these guys never hit the public again but the fact is they will. The judges decision was designed to use the existing laws in such a way that the chance for recidivism was reduced as much as possible.

Just admit that your argument is based on emotion (fear and revenge) and I can accept it. I don't like child molesters anymore than you do but I'm not going to give made up "facts" to justify it.
