I wouldn't happen but with this medium, like road rage (hiding behind a big vehicle) people with NO courage can hide.

You should know that Beau's behavior and attitudes has chased more people out of WE than anyone else.

I DO listen and evaluate on a case by cae basis.

This sentence leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I’ve read the judge’s take on the matter. I think the judge not only needs to take into consideration the rapist’s mental state, but the lasting scars which will live with this little girl for the rest of her life. No amount of rehab or punishment will ever right the wrongs in this case. The judge spoke about the little girl being able to get through it okay, called her a survivor and the such. He says, “She will be a better person for this.†Is this ideology consistent of rape victims? Not that I recall. In fact, I seem to recall that rape victims are among the highest suicide rates. And it wasn’t there fault either, they did nothing wrong. Anyhow, I have a bad feeling that this little girl will be suffering for a long time, and who knows what kind of repressed memories will eventually come out, of course, when this case is long forgotten.

This man not only needs to be rehabbed for what he has done—which I am all for BTW—but punished with some significant jail time for what he did.

STPH, out of curiosity, is there any legal means by which the governor or any elected official override a sentence?

Other than introducing new legislation, no, there isn't.

It's been years and nor would I care to give him any ratings whatsoever.

Fairness isn't the measure of good journalism, factual reporting is. In this very case, it has been demonstrated that he intentionally left out important facts in order to make a political point.

Let's bear in mind his credentials before starting at FAUXNews...he was a reporter on "A Current Affair." Not the most...impressive thing on the résumé of a purported journalist.
