One thing that some younger fans don't get is that WDW used to be nicer, cleaner, and the CMs were more tight and attentive. Everything, not just WDW, is considerably more slack and in your face rude than it was in the 70s. WDW isn't isolated from national trends. It also doesn't help that Disney management is paying for lower quality labor to start with.

They've always had that rep going back to Walt's day and it's always been true ... they believe you should want to work for less money to work for the Mouse! Seems to me that it's exciting as anything to open a Disney park in the USA so it must be even more exciting to introduce a whole new market to Disney.
