As it is now, the tram route forms the back boundary to the park, but there's no reason it couldn't be pushed back further. Additionally, removing the large sets at either end of the route would give them room to add more attractions near existing walkways

I'm just thinking outloud, but if they're investing over $1billion in the park, there's no real reason that the tram tour would need to stay. It's not like there's all that much to see or that any of it's actually been used in production ever

It would be fantastic if DLP could invest 1 billion Euros, but without the backing of TWDC that's never going to happen.

Since TWDC own ILM now, it would be wonderful to bring a behind the scenes attraction/walk through of ILM to the Studios parks.

There are some props and the Dinotopia set along the way, but those seem more like afterthoughts, attempting to put anything of interest between the two anchors at either end. For most of the distance, it seemed like we were just traveling past emtpy space without anything of interest to look at; it doesn't help that the entire thing is an out-and-back so you pass by everything twice

I'd happily lose the Tram Tour. The original plan was to tunnel under it and build out the area behind with new lands, but the tour was a bust from the start!!!

Yes, Residential Street and some of the other 'backlot' areas were removed for the car show. The only backlot area left is Streets of America (formerly New York Street), though the end of it was altered for the tram turn-around and a huge restroom complex. The tram tour also takes you past the scenic shop, costuming building, Catastrophe Canyon, and a couple props and vehicles. All in all, the pre-show with the water tank is probably better than the tour itself

As anyone seen this site before? He's not affiliated with Disney or anything, just a guy with good computer skills and imagination doing blue sky park ideas. He did an expansion of WDSP recently.

I don't know if the entire back catalogue of Studio Ghibli is known enough in Europe, but I'd love to see some of that come to the park.

As I said before I'd prefer more general lands, but that seems unlikely at this stage.

One other thing from that plan, it would make a nice transition between lands to put Spiderman near the giant peach since they're both in NY. DLP does a wonderful job in transitioning from land to land so I'd like that to continue at WDSP!!!

Right? That's a lot of effort and detail for something that's not earning him any money and will never ever happen.

Does Disney ditribute Studio Ghibli movies in Europe as well? And I guess you are right, Europeans wouldn't know a lot about Ghibli.

It's fun for a bit of make believe, but would never happen.

Something like Carsland would be much more likely on that spot!!!

Honestly, I would be very happy with Carsland. From the pictures I have seen, it looks fantastic.

A park with lands based on Star Wars, Marvel, Avatar and Indiana Jones would be a huge draw. Add in Pixar and Disney animation and you have some of the biggest hitters in cinema history. You could almost imagine a time when attendance would beat that of Disneyland Park!!!
