    Indy didn't replace anything. He's been there since the ride opened in 1989. Aside from the movie montage finale, nothing major in the ride has changed since it opened. (Unless you count the turntable of Buzby Berkely beauties that stopped turning at the beginning of the ride during the early years of the park.)

    Had to get that out of the way, I am sure someone will not like this but... I have found this ride to be rather pathetic, since the park opened. And it just keeps getting worse and worse, and like the jungle cruise the cheesiness of the cast member's has a lot to do with this. I think the ride would have been much better had they put in more anamatronics and just installed moving cars like SSE (forget the proper name for them). At this point I would hope there are plans to put this so called ride out of it's misery.

    But I agree with a lot of the criticisms above.

    I find it disjointed largely because of the live CM interaction.

    And while some individual parts are truly great ... the scale of many of the sets for example ... as a whole the attraction doesn't really work.

    And the film montage, updated last about 18 months ago, is definitely weak especially as an ending.

    But I'm still glad it's there. It beats a 2-3 minute thrill ride.

    When we rode in Feb, I could have sworn it was different. DH and I couldn't pick out what it was, but we loved it more than usual. Maybe we just had an awesome CM. Even my boys love this ride over and over and over. It's a classic like COP!
