Well, let me enlighten you. The small western Main Street that is a holdover from the old Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland has sound systems inside some of the stores. So you hear sounds of a tavern coming from the tavern, for example. And if you listen to the track, it's pretty funny stuff. And since the opening of BTMRR it fits perfectly within the theme. No one goes on BTMRR and expects to see anything spooky like the back story indicates. They just want a fun ride in a cool setting, and that's exactly what they get.

They're good comic props. A latter day rubber chicken or whoopie cushion. You act like the invisible dog is dragging you this way or that. Or that it embarrassingly stops at a fire hydrant. Those are just two of the possible 4 - 10 comedic possibilities of the Invisible Dog on a Leash.™

At least the strings on the instruments are part of the HM. Seeing a prop ghost dog on a leash in It's a Small World just didn't do it for me.

That sounds fine, IMO. It's within the theme. BTMR is humorous in it's progression.

Well, I respect your opinion in any case.

Just... I'm not the only person that's seen this in the mansion.

In it's circles of fandom, it's a widely accepted fact.

Is it the best addition? No. Was it a waste of resources? Yeah, mainly because it is tied to an attraction that normally doesn't have extremely long lines. Does it add anything to the HHN? Not really. Is it the satanic symbol of the Apocalypse coming? No. I would probably have a stronger opinion if they forced me to use the new queue. But since they don't I say lets just move along.

I wouldn't expect to see it torn down... but I could easily see it tweaked.

If it fit the mood better, I would probably love it.

Baloney. It's from the original Mine Train attraction (which I remember fondly), a nice tribute added to the end of BTMRR. It fits the overall theme and environment, and isn't a distraction.

    Apples and oranges, once again.

    If it didn't fit... Sure.

    I agree with Skinner.

Probably somewhere basking in his own glow. But I could be unable to get past literal on this one.
