So you would think Theme Park operators of 55 years, who make a point to show that hardly anyone is capable of doing there jobs, would also be aware of such a crazy guest phenomenon. Which then begs the question, "who approved such a wasteful modification?"

Because it's there if people want to experience it. And didn't they test out an interactive queue at Soarin and it worked out well. Because this is Disney if one thing hits, then everything must hit. See also rereleasing classic films in 3D

Actually, from a friend in Ops, most people are choosing the "quick way" to get into the mansion."

This doesn't surprise me, and in fact, I would have thought the percentage of people skipping it would be higher. Anyway, I wasn't really asking about the number or percentage of HM visitors choosing the option to experience the interactive queue, I was asking if the from those who chose to do it was positive.

"Of course, there's always MY way..."

    LOL!

Which brings us back to the question: why the hell was the new queue made optional.

It's like the designers realized it wasn't really necessary or good enough to require everyone to see it.

It'd be like making the Stretch Rooms optional. Clearly they are central to the attraction. The new queue isn't. So why build it? Why invest money in it? Spend the money to clean the cobwebs out of Peter Pan's Flight. Use the money to plus another attraction.

Truly speaks volumes about the incompetence of the execs.

I have been in the Poo que... and many adults and children enjoyed playing with the interactive equipment.

    Mission accomplished!

I agree with that, Disney didn't get to where its at by catering to only the die hards.

Hey man what you do on with your free time is nobody's business but yours.

I will be down for a week starting this Sunday and can't wait to have a look at the new queue. I'm excited to see what I think of it so I can type my own opinions on this thread. Then, I'm going to chastise myself for holding said opinions. I'm hoping I don't reply to myself to harshly as I'll just have to apologize to myself (undoubtedly with the aid of some prodding by the folks hereabouts) or worse yet have Admin delete my post.

I invite everyone to take sides. I mean right now. Before I leave even. I think I'll have to post from WDW as I can't imagine having to wait until I get home to see how it pans out!
