AWESOME.....<<< I'm also not sure of what your point is. You must have one because you are certainly trying to make it. I don't know who they were (I guess by your post they are imagineers in the video, I don't care enough to go back and look) and it doesn't matter, as I said. I judge it by what I like and dislike and I don't care if others agree with me or not. This particular topic, although one cannot tell by the amount of reaction, is so insignificant that it defies logic. It bypasses so you don't have to see it if you don't want to, it is just as much a part of HM now as any other part of it and many like it or are indifferent to it and don't see the end of Disney due to it's creation. I don't know who invented the Frisbee, but I still like it. I don't know who first figured out how to make soft ice cream machines, but I still like the end product. This applies to so many things and it is not even a little relevant. So yes, I defended something without knowing who the people responsible for it were...there must be a point in there someplace.

Mission Space was dull and seperated our family. Nemo was the raping of a once noble pavillion and the damn angler fish didn't even work. The Yeti cave was pitch black, not even Disco mode. Imagination was better than v2, but still not as good as v1. MILF was under construction, having ousted the awesome Timekeeper. Stitch Encounter was not as bad as some paint it, but poor compared to Alien Encounter. The Magic Carpets were going into Adventureland The only addition that really made me think "That was cool" was the Finding Nemo Musical. and even then, I preferred the stage shows at DLP and DLR at the time. Add in broken existing attractions, terrible buses, and econolodge service at a supposed deluxe, it left a real sour taste. I felt like our trip to WDW was a real waste of money and we had a much better trip a year later when we went to DLR. I came off of EE very disappointed indeed. The queue and view from a distance were the best bits.

I think it is one of the best thrill rides by Disney. >>>The Yeti cave was pitch black, not even Disco mode.<<< I think we had Disco Yeti back in 2008. Since I don't know the AA Yeti, I liked the ride. Back then I didn't even know that the Yeti should have been an AA. >>>MILF was under construction, having ousted the awesome Timekeeper.<<< I think you didn't miss anything here. For us that attraction was a waste of time, like Stitch Live! at WDSP. So maybe you would have liked it, since you enjoy Stitch. >>>Stitch Encounter was not as bad as some paint it, but poor compared to Alien Encounter.<<< I have never experienced the Alien Encounter, but Stitch wasn't that bad, but wasn't great either. Since you loved DLR, we can't wait to see it. Unfortunately we have to postpone our trip to the US until February 2013, but that means we get to see a finished DCA.

Since I have never seen the yeti operational, I would like to see it run properly. But, I'm not going to blame the posters on LP for things not being maintained at WDW. As if anyone here is responsible for that. (VBdad it's your fault I had an under cooked cookie at the candy shop in MGM). I really don't see how the HM que and Disco Yeti are mutually exclusive. To pose illogical analogies, Well boys, here at the Disney Company we have a choice, we can either build another billion dollar cruise ship OR fix the Disco yeti at EE. Yeah, I'm there that's how that conversation and decision went down! Did you ever consider that maybe instead of spending thousands of dollars or whatever to fix the yeti it was cheaper to use that used Disco ball from the Village People Orlando tour (criteria 1973) and put it to good use. Everyone seems to be enjoying the Disco ball! And we didn't even have to forfeit that cruise ship in the process. WINNING! WDW is such a bureaucracy anyway with everyone running each Dept and park as if it was their own private feifdom. Heck if the folks at the Wedding Pavallion didn't know there was going to be a DVC expansion at the Grand Floridian until the cranes showed up. I'm willing to believe that there is no such thing as inner office memos or post-it notes at WDW.

I work for a larger corp, but similar in that there are multi national installs and contracts and legalities and money conversions and budgets -- you get the point. One of the real issues I see compared to 20 years ago when we met on large scale projects is that truly - those who are in the know are a small band for each. And no- outside of having to approve a billion bucks or something- the CEO is not aware of everything- nor is CFo etc-- just too much going on- that is why there are layers of management and different organizations with different goals. That is how Aulani shortfall happens- and the response is- those people are now gone. the concept put forth here that some group of mgrs approves each and every transaction to every level is ludicrous -- but then what do I know- I'm not a multi millionaire- ;-)
