While you are learning to use spell/grammar check, you might want to also take a course on reading comprehension.

I am kinda glad all the mundanes bypass it for a lack of coasters and thrills. It just meant that when I was there, it was a lot quieter!

I think Disney/ WDW has, for the most part, remained the most stable part of our lives. Even when we get stressed or sad or depressed or what have you, Disney has always been there to cheer us up(again, for the most part) and talking about it and blogging about it gives us a way to feel connected and at home and know that many people feel the same way we do. I don't think anyone here "obsesses" over Disney, I just think we all feel at home talking about it and making it a right of passage to be able to, for a small part of our day, escape from our everyday lives and discuss something we love.

Either way, it seems strange to me that you registered in December, 2012 and the person who instigated your departure was Brad, who registered in February, 2013. My point is that long time members didn't say a peep about your grammar so don't blast us for what anew person said. Makes me wonder if you and Brad are the same person. Don't really care.

BTW, I go to WDW about 2x a year on average and have been for 20 years and don't even consider myself a fanatic- that is reserved for my New York Giants. I do love this board though. Hope you come back.

    LMAO!!!

I instigated his departure by suggesting he use paragraphs? I would suggest that if you think I have that power by offering simple sentence structure advice, you must be one OVERLY SENSITIVE person. At the VERY LEAST you are giving me WAY too much credit! This was my first interaction with this Blu's Clues person and trust me, I could have been MUCH more harsh!

Somebody else on another thread made a comment that *I* interpreted to be about my habit of writing in one sentence paragraphs - did I have a hissy fit, insult other members and storm off? No, I did not. I took the advice, as a mature person does and am attempting to change my writing style.

    That's what adults do.

"Brad, who registered in February, 2013"

I may have registered on that date but I am HARDLY new. There are SEVERAL members here who have known me on LP for the better part of a decade. I first registered here in late 2000 but due to losing log ins and three computers later, I now post under a different name.

I would also like to suggest you do not quit your day job in favour of becoming a detective.

"My point is that long time members didn't say a peep about your grammar"

Somebody else did it just recently. See my point above. Again, as an adult who is not overly sensitive, I took the advice.

My original message to Blu related to my non-ability to read his rather long paragraph post. When you present something I cannot read, that kinda stifles the intent of a "discussion board", doncha think?

Reading my original post, you will also notice I was very polite in my suggestion, using the cute "sentences are your friend" - again, I could have been really harsh but chose not to. I also added that it was just friendly advice, or the like.

Hardly "instigating" driving somebody away from the boards. Again, stop being so overly sensitive.

"Makes me wonder if you and Brad are the same person. Don't really care."

You obviously do and we are not. If only for the fact I couldn't bring myself to write in such an appallingly bad manner.

TDLfan would NEVER be called a 'Disney Apologist' or 'Defender of Mediocrity', and I've been called both frequently!!

I've seen dupes on message boards plenty of times and I'm sure you have as well.I also used to post under a different name and had to change for the same reason you did so I absolutely believe you when you say that.

I LOVED epcot! I really liked how quiet it was and how neat the lighting was at night around world showcase. We only rode 3 rides, but I still loved every minute of it.

Also, AK was AMAZING!! It isn't like the other parks, that is what makes it so great! I don't want to see any of the foliage or animals subtracted just to add more rides, I can ride rides at MK or HS, I can't see Rhinos and lions isn't that the point?

Granted I don't live in Orlando and have only been once, but I enjoyed the detail and ambiance all the parks and didn't think they looked dated at all.

I should also add that we went in January and there was really low volumes so we were able to slow down and really see the details, I think that makes a huge difference.

O, and for the record I have seen some of my own posts after posting them and I wouldn't have read them either.
