Originally Posted By murfsmom i love it !! it's just a volunteer thing, the hospital i was in for so long has a day care with almost all girls, and i had asked if there was something i could do to help out just sort of a payback for saving my life, even though they were guided by the guy upstairs, anyway some of the nurses said they wished they could take their kids to the park or something on their breaks but it was to far, so i thought well what about starting a little class where the girls could dress up and the moms(and yes we have dads) can come in and do stretches and and a little ballet( i'm not a professional by any means) and then blast the music and let them dance away for about 45 min !! well the parents were as excited as the kids !! it gives them time to hang with their kids, have fun, recharge their batteries and jump start their day !! and i have a fun way of giving back !!

Now if they could just find a way to get Johnny Depp in there... ) I was checking out Kayak.com and Expedia and I did find a room for $50.25 at the Good Nite Inn in Buena Park on Orangethorpe. King bed, Continental breakfast, free parking. We've stayed there before. Not as close to the park as we'd like but the room isn't too bad. I can't say I was disappointed when we stayed. Also the Menage Hotel (on Kayak) at the corner of Harbor and Ball (3*'s) had a room for about $57 a night I think, but you have to pay $10 a day to park. It's a really nice looking hotel and the reviews were pretty good. Maybe this will help someone.

Our Motel 6 has a Jack in the Box and Del Taco in the parking lot, so we get hot, quick breakfasts.
