Darn, that always sounds great when the Genie says it. Boy have you ladies been busy! Poor Chicky_D was all worried about the thread hi-jack. I suspect that any thread that has the Piratific xPPx, the magnificent gottaluvdavillains , smurfy murfsmom, our beloved Lady Starlight and myself will never manage to stay on topic. The big surprise is how we've managed to avoid bring sent to Play Pen. Boy do I wish smedley was here. That would round out this Scooby Gang nicely.

<<I'm sure I'll regret exposing my ignorance like this but, why is there no "e" in "ThDestroyer"?>>

Chicky_D, it's either that Shiva can't spell worth doodie or that LP, like some other internet sites, limits the screen names to no more than 16 characters, or it could be that I'm already using the same screen name on other internet sites that only allow up to 16 characters and used the same name here just because I knew I could remember it. Unfortunately, I don't remember anymore.

Now excuse me for a couple of minutes while I go back and re-read all of the smack you charming ladies have been talking about me.

murfsmom, I think you just reminded me of all the things I loved about the Parade of Stars (except the dancers weren't exactly little girls)

You have no idea. Probably too much though! He's glued to that computer!

We did see National Treasure and loved it. I didn't think I would so it came as a surprise, albeit a good one, and I would recommend it to everyone. I usually like Nick Cage movies though. Now if they could just find a way to get Johnny Depp in there...)

I was checking out Kayak.com and Expedia and I did find a room for $50.25 at the Good Nite Inn in Buena Park on Orangethorpe. King bed, Continental breakfast, free parking. We've stayed there before. Not as close to the park as we'd like but the room isn't too bad. I can't say I was disappointed when we stayed. Also the Menage Hotel (on Kayak) at the corner of Harbor and Ball (3*'s) had a room for about $57 a night I think, but you have to pay $10 a day to park. It's a really nice looking hotel and the reviews were pretty good. Maybe this will help someone.

Our Motel 6 has a Jack in the Box and Del Taco in the parking lot, so we get hot, quick breakfasts.
