LOL 1 chocolate cake mix (can be any type or homemade), baked according to directions on box. 1 bottle caramel topping 1 bottle chocolate syrup 1 carton Cool-Whip 1 bag mini-chocolate chip morsels 1 bag Skor Toffee bits (can use crushed up Heath bars, if desired) Bake a chocolate cake in a 9"x13" pan. When the cake comes out of the oven, use a skewer or knife to poke holes in the top of the cake. (As many holes as you want.) Drizzle caramel and chocolate over the top of cake. (The amount is up to you, probably about 1/4-1/2 cup of each.) Let cake cool entirely. When you are ready to serve the cake, spread Cool-Whip over the top and sprinkle the mini-chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top. Serve One note: The toffee bits will soften over time, so if you are only serving part of the cake, consider adding the toffee to the remaining cake later.

The officers promised they would do the exact same thing each and every time he made the threat. And he'll be a teenager on Jan. 3. Thankfully, he seems to be over his rough patch (for now) and has been pretty cheerful and pleasant the last 24 hours or so. I hope it lasts through Xmas and am kind of copping out and am not really bothering him about chores, schoolwork, etc. I'm not necessarily doing it for him, but for the whole family. We need to have the best Xmas we can. (cue the violins) ;-)
