Well, my mom is back in town (and moved into MY neighborhood) so maybe not. LOL I did get my Golden Doobie pin in the mail today. I wore it to the grocery store and plan on wearing it everywhere else I go for at least a week. :-D

My sister and I have a weird close/distant relationship. I think in some ways she can hurt me more than anybody else could. I understand your feelings.

It's been kind of fun having him around. Neat to have a sibling again, fun to have someone to talk to. It's also been nice to help him out. He took us to DL for the very first time, plus helped us fix our car way back in 1996, so it feels good to finally repay a little of his kindness. Plus the kids really love him and he's reinforced our authority with my son, Warner. (Warner thinks we are the meanest parents alive because we ask him to sweep. LOL) Anyway, he's moving a few miles away (and working a block away) and I'm feeling a little sad that he won't be here. LOL
