And if you come early for some weekdays - it will definitely be less crowded than summer. Unfortunately, it works for more people if we schedule a Big Meet when people tend to come anyway. Some will prefer July, but to me December has better weather, AND the holiday decorations and overlays.

Our group becomes too large to "take over" a public area of Disneyland. It's actually much, much nicer to have a private area to ourselves!

In 2005 it was held at the Disneyland Hotel in a banquet room. So it is still on Disney property, just not in Disneyland itself.
