I sometimes stick the kashi bar into the microwave at the office and then it in in bits, it's more of a "candy" treat that way. Lisann, have you checked out the websites for restaurants? Seriously you can do a WW type diet eating out quite a bit My sister buys a big container of prepared salad and has that every day for lunch with a low cal dressing and some dried cranberries or nuts thrown in for texture. It's huge so it fills her up and she is so good at lunch that she has more points for dinner. I guess soups are too obvious, but there are some REALLY good canned ones out there. Chili over salad is tasty. I'm just thinking that with your limited cooking options, you might just curtail your breakfast and lunch "points" and then not worry about "cooking" your dinner I can easily work a "single" and a small chili or a potato and chili and salad from Wendy's into my day. Or a couple of soft chicken tacos and pinto beans from Taco Bell (sorry or dinner at Olive Garden or Outback for that matter. You can always throw in a salad for fiber/fullness and still have room for a cookie or popcorn. OK, I'm going to stop......I'm on a roll Have a great day everyone

Good grief, something new each time I walk into the break room. On the plus side, I have many supporters and this board to help me through! lol So I started hitting the gym again over the weekend and I am loving it again. I swim everyday and take the aqua arobics twice a week. So for breakfast I had oatmeal and honey and for lunch I have brought some chicken breast chicken soup with vegitables. Really low calorie and lowfat (and perfect in the light cold weather we are having). For myself and my current heavily taxed will power, I do not stock any sweets, chips or anything of that kind at home. For me it is better not to buy it and have it on hand for the temptation. Plus, it keeps my dd from having it as well. My somewhat new motto is, healthy for the toddler and healthy for me! lol Remember, I AM TOO SEXY FOR THAT FOOD!! May this day take everyone a step closer to their goal or to maintaining their goal.~~

I did get on the Wii Fit. It had been 88 days since I was last on it and I was UP over 6 lbs. That was disgusting. Anyway, I did just a few minutes, my foot is stiill sore. I plan to get on it again tonight for 15 minutes or so. My meals are planned for the day. So hopefully, I'll stay out of the candy dish at work. I've GOT to do this!

Not sure how many calories it burned, but it felt good.

I'll think about you when my alarm goes off at 6 and I'm tempted to hit the "snooze". And I say we make the scale in the Penny Arcade the official weigh-in location for this thread! Even for those of us that need to plan our next trip months in advance....

Going to Costco to pick up my protein bars and healthy snacks so I'm set for a while. Alex sounds like its time to invest in a new scale. I bought one on Amazon that works great and it was reasonably priced. I use it everyday, except the last two weeks of the holidays that’s why I was so shocked at how much I'd gained. It's a good tool and if you weigh in at the same time of day everyday you have a good idea how you’re doing. Some say you should only weigh in once a week but I can’t do that I really need to see everyday how its going. I cringe to do this but, today's weight: 181 lbs

When I was anorexic (long time ago in a galaxy far far away) I would kick my scale around the bathroom to find the lowest weight possible. >>>>And I say we make the scale in the Penny Arcade the official weigh-in location for this thread!<<<< >>>>We could even have a looser mini meet<<<< I like both of these ideas. Oatmeal with persimmons for breakfast. Lunch will probably be veggies with eggs prepared somehow.
