    I have been doing pretty well with the diet this week. I lost 2 1/2 lbs last week. I haven't had any chocolate or sweets since I got back on the bandwagon so that is amazing for me. I really need to get my butt to the gym though. It's amazing, just paying for the gym membership doesn't seem to get me in shape at all. ;)

    My appt. with the nutritionist went OK, now she wants me to get serious about losing some more weight which I knew was coming. She's determined to get me off these meds. She said YES to the avocado and cinnamon idea :) Thanks for the tips fellow LP losers :)

    Oh, the thing about my weight is that it is increasingly sneaking up which is what usually happens with me. Then I get to a point and think "what the heck." So a kick in the behind is good for me. Thanks for "listening" :)

    I'm determined to get back in the zone, I was SO in there and now not so much :( I tried putting the cinnamon in my unflavored greek yogurt and it was too overpowering and I couldn't finish it. Any tips on how to get the cinnamon in f would be appreciated :) I LOVED my avocado and tomato sandwich though! YUM!

    Man, I'm just getting bigger, not smaller. So much stress and needing to grab quick meals that I didn't bring with me has caused my body to blow up like a balloon. (Well, really, I've only gained a few pounds but this sounds more dramatic LOL).

    Will have to start over AGAIN for like the billionth time. When will I ever get to be the weight I want? When will life stop being so difficult and start giving me the incentive I need to start losing instead of gaining weight?

    Smeds, I am glad your surgery is finally over. Hope the recovery goes smoothly.

    I love cinnamon and have it in coffee and tea. But I also take it in capsules. They are pretty inexpensive. My SIL is diabetic and keeps it under control without insulin (or any other drug) using cinnamon.

I got called in to work early and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to stay late as well. I did good on lunch and dinner today though. And I have some apples and yougurt for a snack later, which will be esp. good if I have to stay exceedingly late today into tomorrow morning..

    Busy weeks ahead, but its almost time for WDW!

    In other news, my daughter's bday party is this weekend. It's an 80's themed bash and we've got cake, pizza, chips and candy coming out of our ears. Brilliant!

    (I was smart, though, the only candy that is tempting are the Skittles and those are in small, individual packages and will not be poured into a large, inviting bowl for me to snack on all day.)

    Can't wait to see all of the girls in their 80's attire! We've been working on the music playlist for the party. Man, some of that music is horrid. LOL

    I have purchased the cinnamon capsules at Costco, but I decided to hold off on them until I get my next bloodwork done on Oct. 8th. Even if I see good results from the new meds, I'll then add the cinnamon to hopefully see even better numbers!

    I've been walking 4 miles, 5-6 days a week and find that I do not like it when my schedule causes me to miss a day, so that is a good thing I think :).
    Never thought I would actually look forward to and enjoy exercise!
