I ate the (expletive) thing and when I noticed it did not really taste good; I finished it anyway. And felt gross all evening. So anyway, I am still around. Just read the 44 new messages. I did really well in Washington until the last few days. My son-in-law found a gluten free bakery and went out for pastries for my daughter’s birthday. Then, we found another one a few days later. We are talking two women and two children who have not had donuts, scones, maple bars, good bread, lemon squares, cheese cake with cookie crust etc.etc. for 2 years. So you can imagine the result. Actually, we were pretty good about just taking a small sample of each thing. But my SIL got a bit carried away and we had lots of *things*. So the final upshot is that I was down 4 tenths of a pound this morning. And am happily on track and hoping to have 5-8 more lbs off by the big meet. mele, you are beyond awesome. Guess you were not too hurt by our not getting together. You had plenty to do as did I. Let us make sure to get together at Christmastime. Smedley, loved your recipe. We grew a plethora of pumpkins this year. So any new recipes are welcome. I do not like squash soups as a rule but this came out very tasty.

Losing weight is such a mind game. There are times that I am SO in the zone and other times, meh, whatever. I almost fell into a vat of dark covered chocolate almonds last night. I mean, 76% dark chocolate and almonds becomes health food after a nice glass of red wine

I did cheat on Saturday night, but I'm hoping that hasn't undone the week altogether LOL!

Great job! in just taking a taste of the bakery products and CONGRATS on keepin the weight off while away from home mele, GREAT job on NOT eating that almond joy just because it was there!

And dear Smeds weigh in went great and she is going to hit that 50 lb marks next weigh in. Good job!

Last year i was down to almost 120lbs which was my lightest and it was still not good enough. Now i realise its not realistic and just to be healthy is the most important. Happy Haunts i have wii fit to and sadly only played once HAHA so good job!!
