I dropped the rest of my DLR vacation weight and am now back down to my lowest weight since January. I plan to lose a couple more before the next trip for the Big Meet. I'm really sorry that some of you {{smeds}} have had to cancel your vacations :( DH and I had our blood tests today so we are on the straight and narrow for at least another week plus as we both have the dreaded MD (read- get on the scale) appointments coming up :p

I am still on the totally straight and narrow :)

Went shopping for party outfits today and came away delighted, it's fab putting on clothes and feeling good in them!! US 10 all the way too :D Of course my bank balance isn't so impressed but hey ho, I don't expect to drop another dress size, unless I'm having bone chipped away ;) so they will last a while :)

    Yay, amazed! :)

I am down another 2 lbs. My weight loss has definitely slowed down a bit but that's to be expected. I finally exercised for 5 days in a row this week. That's the first time since school started on Sept. 1st. I've only managed to walk 2-4 times per week (and taken a couple of weeks off.) The return to Standard Time has made it even harder to get out there. I usually walk from 3:30-5 pm now. (I am looking forward to Spring and Summer so I can walk after 7 pm!)

I *really* wanted to walk after work yesterday. It was a stressful day and I depend upon my walks to help me work it off. Unfortunately, we had nasty thunderstorms all afternoon/night long. In fact, it's still thundering. My daughter has 2 soccer games today and I'm hoping they are canceled. I really do wanna stay home and bake something pumpkin-y.

My goal was to have lost 120 lbs. by our trip to DL next month (Dec. 11-16) but I don't think I'll lose another 18 lbs. in the next month. But I'm okay with that. Right now I'm just trying to focus on getting my exercise in.

I was supposed to get a massage today (I've desperately needed one for WEEKS now) but my therapist had to cancel. I'm really bummed because I would have walked through a monsoon to get that dang massage today. LOL

There are actually tons of people out there in the same boat i dont think most people even realize that its a addiction the same as every other addiction. Hang in there everyone and be happy about all the good things in your life:)

I bought a dress from Coast too, but I can't find it online, it's silk with a bubble skirt a deep round neck vest style top with pleat detailing a wide tie belt and it's colour is violet. Trust me when I say it's looks more fab than it sounds lol!

    Mele, another 2lb is awesome!!

Keep up the good work everyone... I really do need to start checking in here REGULARLY again and I promise I'm going to!!

Oops, that probably wasn't very inspirational, was it?

As for the arms, Liberty Belle, get some hand weights and do some basic weight lifting exercises that target your arms at home. Arms are, in my experience at least, one of the fastest and easiest parts of your body to tone up and get looking good. And when you have the weights at home, it's easy breezy and you can't make excuses about not having time to go to the gym.

Pixie, you will not eat till you weigh 600lb or I *am* going to come over there and slap you upside the head ;)

Thanks for the compliments guys, I am really pleased with the purchases, and the way they look, I am going to wear the sequin tunic with leggings and my black over the knee boots, I actually can't wait :D

Still going strong with the dieting, nothing to report on weight loss till I weigh in on Thursday though, I really hope I at least lose the lb I need to hit 50lb lost though :)

Instead I shall take advantage of our perfect Texas fall weather (finally--after two months of rain!) and go for a walk.

And Liberty Belle, I have a proposal. I've been wanting to get back after the arm exercises myself, and while I can be a complete sloth on my own, I am very dependable as a workout buddy. . . so how about we set up some sort of online arm exercise accountability deal?

I really *SHOULD* fit one more day of exercise in, but I'm afraid to over do it because last time I did too much, I couldn't get over my plateau, and eventually gave up.

I am amazed with the results of people on this thread. Let's keep it up, so rather than upward and onward, let's say downward and onward!

smeds, please post pics of yourself in your new outfit!

I am still walking 4 miles several days a week, but between the weather and the early nightfall, I haven't been able to keep doing 6 days a week.
It has been hard to get back on the diet train after the cruise, but I have lost the 4 pounds I gained so am back to pre-cruise weight. 21 days to DL so I have a few weeks to drop some more.
I won't be at the meet, we are going from Nov. 30-Dec.4 (didn't want to brave the weekend crowds on DGD's first visit to DL. She is just turning 5 and would be overwhelmed!). If anyone is there during that time, I would love to meet up.

PG I will definitely be part of an online arm-exercise guilt trip... er, I mean, accountability programme. And how's this, if we each manage to do well and we both look really hot I'll come visit you when I'm next in the US (next AFTER January!!) as a reward so we can get a photo of ourselves looking fabulous ;)

I found my "before" photo taken in February, going to wear the same outfit and get an "after" photo. Then if I'm feeling daring I might even post them. I know I haven't lost THAT much weight in the grand scheme of things but I'm still pretty happy!! :)

That's one thing working in my favour atm - I'm also trying to save money for my USA trip, so I can't buy junk food for TWO reasons, saving money and saving my waistline!! Good luck with the clothes shopping.
