Normal meals and a light snack before bed.

Breakfast: whole wheat bagel, light cream cheese (not very much) and a few grapes. Lunch: snow peas and left over lasagna Dinner: chicken breast, potato, and a veggie salad. My "bad" was a Quaker Breakfast Cookie that was sitting in my cupboard just calling my name. And as usual it called and I caved at 11:00, need more willpower for late night snacking.

It tracks your weight, your calorie and fat intake (it had just about every typr of food and many restraunts to pick from) and tracks your exercise. I can't wait to start using it! ~Beth

Hmmm, I may have to rethink my lunches. Thai for dinner, which is always "bad", but that will be it for Thai for awhile. Thursday is our actual "start" day. I'm going grocery shopping today so today is stock up day. Tomorrow I "have" to go to Costco. Does anyone have any suggestions on good things to pick up there? My friend mentioned the frozen talapia (sp?) but I never quite know what to do with frozen fish. I'm going to avoid the bakery section!!! Have a great day everyone. Oh, I am thinking of some doozy pictures of me from our trip to DLR in December or some from Christmas, but I will try to get some taken on Thursday. I'm including DH because he is on this "journey" with me and he'll be at the meet
Originally Posted By tapdancemom amazedncal2, you're right about the bakery section at Costco. It's too tempting, love the muffins. Hubby and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this week and going out to a nice steak house we have a gift certificate to. That could be a disaster calorie wise so I'm gearing myself up to go easy on the bread, one small piece. A small steak and careful on the "all the trimmngs" that come with dinner.

Tomorrow is my official WI, so I will report in here. I'm a daily weigher, so today looked good and I'm hoping for good things tomorrow. My pants are a little tight today, that will keep me on the straight and narrow for sure. Am supposed to meet friends for lunch today, I'm resolving to make a good choice. The December meet looks like a no-go for me, but I'm an optimist (and a schemer) so I'll see what I can do.

I took pictures of myself when I began this journey last year and those pictures will be coming with me for the December meet. Since yesterday, everything I ate was weighed against the picture in my head of the "After" look I want everyone to see this December. So last night I did an hour of Aqua Aerobics and 20 minutes of lap swimming. Today I plan to do the recumbent cycle for 30 minutes and 30 minutes of lap swimming. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR THIS FANTASTIC MOTIVATION!!

I drink it like I should water. I need to go slow off of it because I get really bad headaches if I go cold turkey. I have a 2 litter in the fridge right now. My goal is to go slow on that. One glass of coke, one glass of water ect.. and onces that is gone no more. If I tell my hubby he will not buy it for me and then if I do slip he will ask if I had given up, then I get mad and drink my water while pouting LOL

At the very least I'm going to take before and after pictures to hold myself accountable. When something tempts me I will at least have a mental picture to weigh it against. I also want to say that I am a member of Weight Watchers online, which includes discussion groups, but personally I don't find any of them as supportive or motivating as this one, so THANKS!
