While I was at Disneyland, I was soo good, and didn't have a single churro! My downfall snack this time was a Dole Whip Float. I did alot of walking, stayed at the parks the entire time they were open. I didn't want to let my husband down, the ball was really his night, so I made sure to stay away from super bad stuff.

I'm going to hit the Treehouse of death this week and by the time the Big Meet rolls around, I'll be ready to enjoy a Dolewhip. Mele, just for posting this fabulous tidbit of info on the mighty Dolewhip, I'd like to buy you one when I see you. :-D

(I won't be at the Big Meet, tho. We'll be there Dec. 11-16.)

And I can't do cartwheels either. The thought is...painful.

For the people struggling with the black coffee, have you tried the flavoured coffees, where the flavour is in the beans? Not the same as adding creamers I am sure, but there are no added calories or sugar, and they just add that nice bit of taste :)

Tinkeroon, can you have tamari sauce? I would definitely check, it's a japanese type of soy, but it doesn't have the salt, but does have all the flavour. Also in terms of soups, I make my own and use Kallo low salt stock cubes, maybe this could be an option for you? Again check with the doctor first :)

Still going strong here, going to weigh myself tomorrow..

Tinkeroon, we are rooting for you :) Please keep us informed about all the wonderful new cooking methods you come up with as salt is something we all should probably be watching out for. It's been discussed with my MD and the soups and lunch meats were high on her list of no no's for me and restaurant salad dressings of all things.

kittyprincess, I'm so glad that your Ball was a success and that you fit in to your dress!!!

So many posts I feel like I want to address everyone about their awesome success's but I'd be here all day :)

I went to the nutritionist yesterday and she said I am her star patient :) My bloodwork was awesome and she thinks I can successfully be taken off some of my meds but I need to push it at the MD appointment next week. She still wants another 5-10 lbs loss (of course I want more) but said over the next 6 months is her thought. She reminded me that this is not a diet but a way of life and I need to accept that and I believe I have.

We're all in here together!! Have a great day :)

<<admits that while I "like" a dole whip, I don't "love" a dole whip. I think it has to do with my lack of a sense of smell, I don't get the fruity back taste :( My daughters LOVE them though.
