Please hang on csgoofygirl. I have been up and down, good and bad, depressed and manic on these weight loss threads. But I have hung in there and I believe I would weigh a lot more if I had not.

    >>>>>That is a better feeling than any chocolate bar can give me, that's for sure.<<<<<<
I have said it before and I will say it again. Nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, tastes as good as thin feels.
    Great going 999.

I had a luncheon today at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the lunch special which had only one entre. Still, just by virtue of being Mexican food I know it was full of lard. I was reasonable but dinner will be a small amount of turkey breast and veggies. I went to the gym immediately after so I burned off some of it.
When I first gave up wheat I lost a bunch of weight right away. Now, I have found plenty of fattening substitutes as well. Moderation here too.
I could not believe how many posts I had to read but I read them all. I think that is important to all of us; to know folks are paying attention to us.

I agree with the cut up ahead of time veggie idea. I definately eat more if they're ready.

Was doing good today with breakfast and lunch, then went to my cardiologis appointment and found out I need another cardioversion in a few weeks. Got depressed and on the way home stopped at Dairy Queen and got a small blizzard. Dumb I know, but will get back on track for the rest of the day.

Next week I start Cardio-Core boot camp for 4 weeks, twice per week. I don't imagine I'll be able to walk after the first class, but I'll give it a go.

Keep it up everyone, even a small loss is a loss...this thread is where it's okay to be a Loser!

Dinner was grilled chicken & rice and more water. I did have an afternoon snack - one gala apple.

Congrats 999!! We're all so very proud of you.

But I didn't even have a bite of one. I love these donuts, but surprisingly, I didn't really even want one. Wierd...

I had a good day today. Mardi Gras season has started, and that means King Cake. I promised my students I would bring King Cake today and I did, and I didn't eat a piece. I didn't even lick the icing off my fingers after I cut it. They also had another King Cake at the faculty meeting today, and I resisted. Lastly, they had leftover donuts from the student of the month breakfast in the faculty lounge, but I walked away.

I can't wait to weigh in on Monday! Let's keep it up guys, we're doing GREAT!

It's 10:31 p.m. here and I haven't eaten anything after dinner tonight. I can't believe it. I did go in my pocketbook tonight for a pen and found a little piece of chocolate and almost ate it, but didn't :)

For our "holiday celebration" in December - no lie I think we had about 20 DOZEN cookies. Ugh. Today I passed out the last of the dang cookies I caved and and a VERY small one. Thankfully, chocolate isn't my favorite and I'll be able to resist the certain boxes I'll get next month. It's the cookies I have a hard time with.

I walk quickly through the office when I know there are donuts around

Yesterday I pulled out my WW info. It's the flex plan, I also have various others but thats another story :p So I find everything EXCEPT the points finder thingy!! I was seriously starting to go into panic mode, trying to use whats left of my brain as to where in the heck I would have put it in November when I was cleaning up for Thanksgiving. It ended up being exactly where it always is, in the basket with our vitamins and supplements. I never put it away with the rest of the stuff.

So it got me to thinking, does anyone know what the "new" WW plan is? Since I have, OK, 4, there I said it, 4 sets of WW booklets and stuff, is this new whatever plan it's called anything actually new or just motivation?

DH is still in the "not wanting to chew" mode so that is a HUGE help to me. He's not in pain so I'm not feeling snarky about saying that. I just know there will be NO talk of pizza tonight. Pizza is the one thing I can't seem to use portion control, maybe it's the glass of wine that I have with it?

Hee hee hee - I'm definitely not tall (5'4") and I'm certainly not skinny (at least not yet!). As I tell people, I'm short and squat! :)

The way I imagine people look is ALWAYS radically different from how they actually look. Isn't it funny how we get an image stuck in our head? I wonder what triggers certain images for certain people?

I'm going to try and at least walk today. I usually work out 5 times a week and reward myself on Saturdays and Sundays by sleeping in. It won't kill me to walk for 30 minutes today.

Tomorrow is my cheat day - I always have a cheat day because I'll go nuts if I don't. I won't count calories and I'll allow myself to slip a little, but I don't go insane. I also saved about 100 points each day this week, so that allows me to let go a bit.

Breakfast today I ate Multi Grain Cherrios 1 serving size ceareal and I had a cup of coffee with 1/2 serving size creamer.

We may be going sledding tomorrow so that is a huge workout while having fun at the same time.

They provide a list of filling foods (fruit, veg, whole grain, high fibre stuff) that they encourage you to choose over less filling stuff. You also are supposed to rate your hunger on a scale from 1 to 5 before and after you eat (where 1 is hungry,3 is satisfied and 5 is full).

I like this hunger rating, because I try to enter my points before I eat a meal or snack, so I'm forced to evaluate my hunger before I eat anything, which I guess is the point.

The new program is still based on points.

On another note, good job to Officerminnie, NikkiLOVESmickey and tinkerbell1962 for your awesome willpower!

I *was* a little hungry, but I wound up eating way more than I actually needed. . . a baked potato, corn, fruit, and then a big handful of chocolate covered almonds. Ugh. I felt overstuffed afterwards (keep in mind this was all after an ample dinner), and worse, I felt disgusted with myself. BUT today is a new day. I can't just throw it all out the window because I screwed up. The kids and I are going to the rec center to walk/run today, and I will go back to smart food choices.

And I should probably throw out the rest of the dang chocolate almonds. They are delicious, and there are still a whole big bunch of them left in the bag.

Target carry's the large bag for less than $3 in the cheddar and ranch flavors.
The grocery stores carry the smaller bags in lots of flavors including Chocolate, bbq, and cinnomon apple. It says right on the front how many you can have for one serving.
