I bought those to curb any chocolate cravings I may have. I do have a package of Starbucks mocha truffles in the cabinet, though. Ooops...should have finished that yesterday

I haven't gone to the store yet and I might put them on my list. Speaking of food Does anyone have any tricks to make plain popcorn taste better? I brought out the air popper but I "need" something to make the blah taste better.

The chocolate ones are my fav..but the strawberry and blueberry ones are good for breakfast, too. Walmart even has their own version, now, too. As far as the popcorn, what about those butter shakers? Or I can't believe it's not butter spray? I think the Butter Shakers (I think you'd find them in the seasoning aisle) also has other flavors, like caramel. I've seen them at the theater, believe it or not.

Another lady piped up and said, "YOU WASHED IT OFF?!!!??" Today is good so far. Slept late so made avacado, broccoli and bacon omelettes for me and DH. (Small amount of bacon, just for flavor.) I do not think we will hit the gym today; yucky weather and everyone coming over for dinner tonight. But he has already fired up the Wii for some 1 on 1 tennis. (We actually play it 2 on 2.) We get a pretty good workout from that and then I do balance, strength and yoga on the Fit. My best to all.

They have other games that go with the Wii Fit board now that are fitness based. When I was actually using the Wii Fit I was doing well with it - the kids disconnected it and hooked up their ps3 over the summer - now I know how to have both hooked up and will start back with it on Monday. It's also fun which does help and you can unlock different games and such.

I walked for 45 minutes today, and I've restarted something that has been enormously helpful to me in the past. . . writing down absolutely everything I eat each day. Just the process of writing it down tends to drastically decrease what I eat without me consciously trying to eat less. I also tend to make much healthier food choices when I know I'll be writing it down. My longterm goal is to have lost 10 - 15 pounds and toned up a lot by June 1. I am going to report in here at least once every two weeks. And I'm dead serious about hoping people will get on my case in very direct ways if I fall off the wagon. I really am looking for support, which for me is valuable in the form of tough love.

It struck me today, while at work, how much I hate my job and how miserable it makes me. On the upside, when I'm depressed I don't eat (or move, or speak) but it's not really the "healthy new life" I was planning on working on. So, I have tons of stuff to work on this year...not just weight. Not sure if I can do it all at once. I think this job situation is going to have to come first or I'll be stuck eating whatever menu they feed people in the asylum. Heh.

You did seem a bit stressed when we met, but I thought you were handling it well, but then we just met so I don't know you all that well........ I'm rambling, but you get the idea! Maybe Miss C could join us too.
