I know it's bad for you but I love it I tried the white tea sweetened with no milk. To me it tasted like very weak black tea which is OK because I normally can't drink tea without milk but this is fine. Much better than the taste of green tea. Tinkeroon do you like snow peas? Sandra snacks on them all the time.

I'm supposed to have 1oz of dark chocolate a day plus nuts so I choose to have a few of the 73% cacao covered nuts from TJ's I have 4ish a night with some more nuts. They also have dark covered cherries and cranberries. I take a tiny dish that is made for Japanese sauces and put the chocolates in it like its a dessert. I eat them slowly. Not that I wouldn't like to eat the whole box but somehow I don't. I just set my mind for a certain amount. Good and easy snacks are sliced apples or pears with string cheese (not sure about the sodium)or apples/celery and peanut butter. Kashi TLC granola bars were okayed by my Dr. I break them into pieces and put them in a little dish and eat them slowly. Raw veggies and salsa. LS, thanks for the pita bread/bagel info. I'll look for that brand. Hang in there everyone!

I LOVE salt too and it's so hard not having it! I'm still using it a little but much less than before and try to avoid it if I can. amazed...thanks for your suggestions as well. I love dark chocolate and it would probably help me to *not* eat too many other sweets. I've been eating sliced apples and pears but am foregoing the cheese because most dairy products tend to feed breast cancer cells. And I LOVE dairy! I could eat cheese all day! Of course, no one would want to be around me much later on! LOL There are some types that are okay, but I'm not sure yet which ones. Need to do more reading on that. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's going to cost me a bundle! Eating for your health is NOT cheap!!

So I'm guessing white tea would as well but don't hold me to that

Tinkeroon, another one is baby sweetcorn, I also have sugarsnap peas, not sure if they're called that there, but they're good to snack on, also the baby chanteray carrots, they're slightly sweeter and have the crunch, all raw Oh and I googled caffeine in white tea and found the following : If you are drinking tea for your health, you may want to consider white teas. There is also considerably less caffeine in white tea than the other varieties (15mg per serving, compared to 40mg for black tea, and 20mg for green). Some studies have also shown that white tea contains more active cancer-fighting antioxidants than green tea.

I hadn't heard that before, I'm not a big cheese or dairy eater so that is good to know. If anyone has a Costco membership, their large bags of mini bell peppers are priced WAY better than any other store. They make a nice addition to the snow/snap peas, baby carrots, etc. smeds, which sweet baby corn do you eat? Is it tiny cobs of corn like Tom Hanks ate in BIG or individual kernels? I'm making frittata for a shower and I'm so determined to make it "healthy" that it's ending up tasting gross. LOL! I think I need to go in a new direction.

It is one of my newly rediscovered favorite snacks! Good for you smedley- and all my losing gang here. Sometimes it is better to take it day by day until you make it through this week, then the next. This morning I had a poached egg with a mini whole wheat bagel (less then 1/4 size a normal one..got to love trader joes!!). For snack I have carrots and home made Pico de Gallo and for lunch I have two whole wheat mini pitas stuffed with some rotissery chicken and lettuce and tomatoes. (my oven stopped working, so its either rotissery or pan fry).
