If you are near a Costco, they have snap peas, little bell peppers, green beans, and carrots in the produce area right now. All of these that I have bought from there last week were perfectly ripe and yummy.

We have a range of cook books over here called Symply To Good To Be True by Annette Syms. They are a range of everyday recipes made with low fat substitutes so you can have treats as well. There are even cake recipes in it, but of course they can only be so low calorie :( Anywho she makes a dip using a tub of cottage cheese whipped in the food processor until smooth then you add either some dry french onion soup, corn relish or a few other flavours I can't remember right now. They make a tasty low fat dip for raw veges.

MP...sometimes I think that is the way to go at it...nice and slow. Just changing your eating habits can have a great effect on your overall health. Even if you don't lose a lot. If you put in healthy foods you're going to be a lot better off for it.

Mickeysbestfan...yes, we have a Costco in town. I did buy the bag of peppers last week and they've been great in a number of things I've made. I guess I could eat them raw too. Problem is I am used to slathering my raw peppers with mayo (oh-so-good!)and I can't do that! But as others have suggested there are the low fat/cal dips, and yogurts to try on them. I didn't notice the peas or green beans, but then I wasn't really looking for them either. Are they sold in their own individual bags or are they in a tray with a bunch of other raw veggies?

I don't as of yet have a pair of "goal" jeans. But I think I'll start noticing the difference in my day to day clothes. So far...nada.

They are in their own bags. The Costco by me, they are in the refridgerator section right outside where the lettuce and stuff is.

I have decided that my first official weigh day is next Friday. I don't feel like adding a scale view to the stress I have had all week. And talk about no sleep, last night I didn't get to sleep until after 2am and still was up before the alarm at 5:30.

Today the ex will be picking up the rest of his stuff and his snake (glad to be rid of that) and it will finally close that chapter out and maybe let me get some sleep.

I'm going to take a 3 mile walk in a little bit. I need to go somewhere and I don't have a car today. I am struggling a little with some depression issues, the sunshine will be good for me.

Congrats to all the losers. My WI is tomorrow.
