I'm going for another 10 lb loss by the end of April. It's going to be a bit harder than I planned as DD#2 and her Boyfriend are staying over a few days longer. Breakfast and lunch are no big deal but I'm going to really have to THINK about dinners. Hope everyone is doing well

It's all planned around keeping your resting glucose at the levels it should be. It's a plan for life too, which is great, will be allowed to add back some of the better starchy carbs and the occasional glass of wine when I get to my target. The best thing is I feel *great* while I am doing it, feel so much healthier and totally full of energy, wonderful! So I did as I planned last night at the pub, warm salmon salad and sparkling mineral water all night, it's great to feel so in the zone! Got a couple of things coming up though, so I just need to work on not doing too much damage then

Was really craving candy last night, but didn't give in. What helped the most was the fact that there wasn't any candy in the house. But I went to the store and didn't cave in and buy any either. Felt a little hungry at bedtime, but had eaten my allotment for the day, so I just went to bed. I don't think it's really hunger, but more like just wanting something. Know what I mean? Let's hold on and keep moving forward.

Everyone had burgers except for moi. I had a wonderful salad with grilled chicken and a little salsa in place of the salad dressing. Not only was it delish, but it was my first health eating out choice of the new year amid so many temptations. YEAH! Now I really want to get more exercise. It was sprinkling a bit and really windy last night, but I played outside with my daughter and my sisters children (who I watch) until it got dark. Perhaps it is not standard exercise, but trying to keep up with 4 children ranging in ages from 3 to 11 does keep you going! the downside was once it got dark, I had to take them inside and light candles. A branch broke off a tree in their backyard, knocking out their power. At this time, they are still without power. Hopefully they will get that restored sometime today. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday~

I'd run around the house but it's DARK and I'd have a beagle running with me and getting underfoot! If it ever lets up we can take a break at the office and walk there, no hills in that area but it would be something. I hope the rain and crazy drivers/mini flooding stops enough so I can go across town to Safeway and not hit the pricy store by the office to get some "on our plan" food for dinner. Have a great day everyone!!!

Glad to hear about the everyone staying strong, we can do this!

Too cold and wet out to walk and end up sitting in the recliner. Yeah, just what I need! Can't seem to motivate myself to do a workout video. Thought about it but that's as far as I got today. With the weather being what it was last night, I didn't sleep well at all. I think that has a bit to do with my lethargy today. Would be good if we had a wii fit or something like that. But nope, I have to settle for Richard Simmons workouts. Haha But hey, it works. If I do it!

If it keeps going for a couple of weeks then maybe look at cutting back a little on the carbs, but I am sure you will be fine

After that, I'll do some grocery shopping, then volunteer in DD's 1st grade class (she's the teacher, not a student . . .) Let's do this!

I think we've all been there. I bought an exercise video with these stretch band things, I ran across it in the back of the cupboard, during the holidays as I was looking for a Christmas DVD, it was still in the shrink wrap. Whoops! I also used to use the Richard Simmons DVD's. Hmm, maybe I can find them for these crazy rainy days. I stayed on my eating plan yesterday I'm not feeling motivated or in the zone but I'm muddling through. To all of you in the zone, please keep posting and pull us in with you and your enthusiasm Thanks!
