    No obvious weight loss since Thursday, but that often seems to be the case on weekend days, as I don't have my breakfast till I get to work which is about an hour and a half after I get up. Still the losses will come, it's good to know that I just have to keep on at it for it to happen :)

    I weigh on Fridays and yesterday I was down .7 lbs since I became serious last Tuesday. This is pretty typical for me and it IS motivating to see a loss :) I reset my goal for 3 months and 12 lbs or something like that. I'm on the slow loss and maintain route. Last year I lost 18 lbs in about 3 months and then was able to maintain the loss for the first time in my life :) Well, I actually lost 20 but that was fleeting, my body seemed satisfied with the 18.

    I think we are all doing pretty well here, trying our best and picking ourselves up and just dusting off when we fall. Yay us! :)

When I "grow up" I want to open a cookie store and have coffee drinks and icy cold milk and wi-fi and a fireplace. Sounds good, huh? Now I just need the money to get started. LOL!

    Hope all you Californians start to dry out a little. I'm thinking it will be incredibly GREEN out there in March when I am there!

    I'm on my first 32 oz of water for the day.

    Me too! I haven't walked after work all this past week because of the Rain. I just weighed myself and I lost 1 pound! I was afraid that I gained, but I didn't! So that makes 11 pounds in 3 weeks!

    I ate before we went (salmon and steamed veggies, satsuma after) and drove so I drank sparkling mineral water all night and stayed far away from the yummy food, wasn't even tempted when DH was eating it, there were homemade desserts too, YAY ME!!

    Labuda jazzercise sounds fun!

    We were able get in a good walk yesterday, it felt really good to get out. I did my Wii stuff, stayed on point all day cleaned out a section of the garage and then went out to do some shopping. The Boudin restaurant (fresh french bread) was calling us and we caved. It was sooooo good and it felt sooooo bad (guilty)at the same time. We'll walk a couple of extra hills today in penance :)

    Just come back from the gym, 10 slow minutes on the cross trainer and all my strength exercises for my knee and some upper body work and sit ups, so a 45 min work out later and I am feeling pretty virtuous, I *will* make my knee better! (of course it's really sore at the moment but hey lol)

    Dinner in about 45 mins will be crackerbreads and laughing cow extra light cheese spread with raw veggies and an apple for dessert, oh and I've had 2.5ltrs of water so far today. But much better than that even is the fact I am feeling great :)

    Everyone is just doing so well! My progress, is VERY slow! Dietwise, I'm doing well. Exercisewise, not so much. It's hard to get out there in this weather and it just makes you cold and you don't want to do anything except sit and snuggle under a blanket all day. I'd lost 4 lbs. within my first week of all this and then gained a couple back. I've lost them again, so I'm down 4 lbs. total. I've gotten some great snack ideas here from you all and that really helps out during the day. Now, I just really need to motivate myself to keep exercising. SO HARD!! I did a 20 min. stint yesterday. Not much but better than nothing. Trying to keep busy so I don't just sit.

    Well after my 50 minutes of hell on Saturday I couldn't move much yesterday. Muscles were yelling at me for forcing them to do such things. But I got them back by making them do it all over again this morning (although not with as much gusto as they were still a little sore). I have also resisted the ultimate temptation of the chocolate chip hot cross buns my mother bought my DS, so I'm proud of that.
    Remember just keep swimming (and Tinkeroon I mean in the great swimming pool of life where no swim suits are needed cause we're all in the nuddy).
