OK now this is getting bizarre, I have no sense of smell either...I think you may be me lol.

I slipped last night and had pizza, my family forced me, really :S, but I'm going to do more exercise this week and hopefully at least break even and today I'm gonna be chugging down the water haha.

I used to have a rooibos tea and I did like it, thank you very much for the reminder. Now I feel like going shopping for tea :)

LOL! in other words "no one really knows so lets just say a virus" OK, by then I was used to it and I was OK missing out on smelling my newborns sweet and not so sweet smells :) Maybe TMI there? Sorry.

SO, I'm really liking this straw in the water glass thing. It makes it more mindless (no lifting of the glass:) more like drive by water drinking :)

I succumbed to pasta primavera last night :( AND 2 pieces of garlic bread :(:( I was SO good all day and then it got late, I was tired and hungry and before I got a grip we had the take out menu out. DD and her boyfriend were here and I know if they hadn't been I would have just made a salad. Oh well, moving on........

Have a great day everyone :)

<<The problem with food is that the bad stuff tastes so darn good. I'd happily eat salad and veges all the time if they tasted like bacon and chocolate :D>>
I hear you Tandelothien!! Why does the bad stuff have to taste so darn wonderful?!! But you're doing a great job!! And have had some pretty steady losses.
And Smed...you'll lose that last bit...I have no doubt about it. Funny how some pills can keep you from dropping some weight. But it sure happens. What is a detox like? Is it something that basically flushes out your system? It's not dangerous?

Amazed, it sounds like you're doing just fine. I've tried to journal, but I ALWAYS forgot to write things down and decided it was not going to happen. We are in the same boat as far as the water is concerned. I am soooo not a water drinker but I've been making myself drink a lot more of it. All these different teas sound so interesting. I think I'd like to try that white tea. I've tried that redbush tea and it was okay, but not really "my cup of tea" ! hahaha

Tomorrow I might throw caution to the wind and actually stand on that scale. If you hear a scream...that would be me!

Thanks Smed, for the info on the detox! I wonder if I should try something like that. I could probably use a good cleaning out. haha

I keep thinking about getting out and taking a good brisk walk. But it looks like rain and I'm afraid of getting caught in it. Not that it's likely to do me any harm, mind you. But...

And now a new tip that will make everyone who is struggling to drink water groan...a German research team has discovered that if you drink a large glass of water immediately after getting up in the morning, it boosts your metabolism. Don't know if it works but I'm giving it a go :D

I tried 2 kinds of rooibus tea yesterday and REALLY liked one and the other was just OK, not enough taste for me. Today I bought a 3rd brand. Soon I'll be able to open a tea shop :)

My shoulder has been hurting me, yesterday it got really bad, to the point I couldn't do any of the Wii exercises that involved arm movement. I went to the chiropractor today and I had thrown my shoulder out of alignment. It wasn't popped out of the socket but thrust forward and it HURT. It's been moved back into place but it's still tender. Typical JUST when I was doing pretty well with forcing myself to do at least 15 minutes on the Wii each morning.
Thanks, I felt like whining for a bit :)

I actually hurt my shoulder on Friday as well and had to rest up on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not sure what I did but one minute I was shadow boxing and then I felt a click and a stab of pain. I don't punch so forcefully now, lol.

Still showing no signs of actual weight loss, but I am ignoring that and staying on plan 100% at some point the darn weight will come off! It will be interesting to see if it happens when I stop the detox after tomorrow. Unfortunately it is my official weigh tomorrow and I am not sure the 2 week figure is going to look pretty :(

Tinkeroon, if you were going to consider doing a detox I would suggest you speak to your doctor first and make sure it's ok for you :)

Ah well onwards and downwards girls, if not a lot of weight loss tomorrow I have my fingers crossed for inches instead ;)

Stepping on the scales though, I have still managed to lose 2kg (4.5lbs) in the last 3 weeks. It is slower these days, but still in the right direction!

I am nearly to the 300lb mark, but for me that is significant as I have lost just over 70 in the last 5 months. Still

120 lbs to go 1/3rd of the way there.
