And unfortunately and amazingly this one is very good. So, it may have to go in the freezer if he doesn't show up tonight.

I do tend to drink more on shift than at home, at home it is more like 2-2.5 with not much else, at work it's nearer 3 litres of water, plus my 3 allowed coffees and usually a couple of white teas as well LOL! CS back on the wagon, darn those good things tempting us!! Putting it in the freezer sounds like a good idea if your son doesn't visit

Let's do this for ourselves . . . we are worth it!

I swear that straw helps I got a nice lesson in reading food labels yesterday I need to pull back and REALLY read why something is "low carb" or "transfat" or why something that is fat free still tastes pretty good Everytime I think I have this figured out something else comes up to slap me down

Although I have had seaweed we picked out in the ocean in Hawaii but that was fresh in a salad. Been eating pretty good but over did it alittle on the ground cashew/pistachio squares from the health food store. They are too wonderful. I love to go to the health food store in Davis once a month & try at least 1 new product. Makes shopping much more fun & interesting for me. Thanks iamsally for that reminder of more water. I'm not a liquid drinker so I tend to forget to have enough water. Tinkeroon-I woke up thinking about you this morning & your weight loss & it is a great inspiration for me sort of like the dangling carrot for this bunny! I think I lost a lb but sometimes my scale is flakey on accuracy. I hope I can keep up these extra excercise classes and that I can be aware so not to injure these old bones & tendons. Once day at a time! ♥♥♥to all!!!

I was down a pound! I have to keep reminding myself about the water. Reading this thread helps! Think I'll go drink a glass right now!! geniesjoy...I was thinking about you this morning too!! Almost called but remembered it was my sister's birthday and ended up on the phone with her. I wish I could get into the Yoga thing like you have. My body won't move like that...yet! LOL But still, some good stretching exercises could help any of us.

Why would I cave to a silly craving or rationalization when I know it will bring me down. Yet I have done it over and over through the years. A true paradox. (or is that *pair o' docks?) I am on day 6 as well. Getting to the good part where the cravings fade and I am more satisfied with what I have. But I keep having the urge to eat something sweet right after a meal. How much sense does that make?!? Got in a great Wii workout today. Tomorrow we will take another walk to the post office.

I decided that I need to be more organized so I'm going to do the WW thing but keep in mind the higher volume of veggies and proteins and keeping the carbs at bay. It will be tricky but I think it will be a good plan for the weight loss part. Fingers crossed X X I'm still in the organizing mode and will kick start my plan in full on Monday.

My food is improving & I feel I am in the process as the urge is diminishing slowly. I did my 3 classes last week-Tai Chi, Aerobics & Yoga & feel improvement already. But it is painful in some joints mainly my thumb on rt hand. I think from yoga positions & holding up my weighted body using my wrists. I talked with teacher(she teaches both A&Y classes)& told her I will do my best to do the movements I do not know- which is most of the aerobics & lunges & she is fine with that. I will take these 2 new classes one week at a time. And I try to remember to take this food change the same way-one day at a time. Tinkeroon, Smedley, csgoofygirl, mickegmeg & Amazed-I appreciate all your shares as it gives me courage to continue my own quest for better health & joy in this old skin!♥♥♥to all!

Let me know if they keep working for you. We walked to the PO today with the dogs. That is a pretty good distance though we need to kick up our pace a bit. Also did some yard work. Spring is a good time to get the old motivation going. Been a week and I feel pretty good about it all. I have been three days without caffeine. I was really tired the first day but am getting my energy back now.

The result of this is that I've put back on a couple of kilos so it's back to the old drawing board for me. I started back exercising today but am taking it a little easy until my full strength returns and am feeling pretty good today. I've been keeping up with all your stories while I've been sick but just didn't have the energy to type any more than birthday wishes for LPers and you've all been keeping me inspired to get back on the wagon, so thank you

She said she loved them BUT...they are not good for standing in. She said when she is doing a procedure that requires a lot of standing and not moving around~then her feet hurt her. But if she's walking a lot, then they're great! She said she takes two pr. of shoes to work and uses them accordingly. Don't know if that helps you at all...
