    Like colds iamsally!!!♥♥♥hugs, too!

May have to try my chiropractor again as my shoulder isn't any better even with excercise. Sitting at the computer doesn't help either but is necessary.

Yesterday I ate well & smaller portions. I am working on that but forget sometimes especially if I get too hungry.

Today I hope to vac & mop out this cave. And water the front yard. My energy isn't yet up to par but it is early.

Tinkeroon-you did good going out to that restaurant. I don't think you will notice the bread sticks. I hope you are feeling better with your back. Going back to work is hard on a body especially some of your tasks that you do. I can only sleep on one side, (my bad arm side) because if I switch sides I take the big chance of my lower back going out. I am hoping the excercise will streghten my muscles more.

Too funny! But I know just what you mean! I hope the shoulder feels better soon!
And yours too geniesjoy! I have noticed that one side is much more comfortable to sleep on than the other. I feel more lower back pressure on one side. Back is still tender today. Oddly, it felt better yesterday than today. I sure hope it staightens up soon. Fortunate that I don't have to work until Friday and Saturday as it gives me a little more time to heal up.

Was making lunch for DH last night and ran out of cookies for him. So, of course, I HAD to bake some! And who, in their right mind, would let an opportunity like that go by without sampling freshly baked warm cookies?! White chocolate macadamia nut cookies! I tried to resist. Honest I did. For about 30 seconds. It had been so long since I'd had any sweets and I was overcome. LOL So I will have to be extra careful today. Guess I should go have some more fat melting juice...

I have felt pretty good today. My food has been just right so one day of naughtiness did not spoil the barrel. (Believe me, sometimes it can.)
I have not been on the scale and will not until next week sometime. But a pair of pants that were a bit tight I was able to snap and zip easily today. (Still not the blue cords though.)

Take care everyone. Keep the faith.

I'm either catching my cold all over again, or am developing allergies. I'm all congested again tonight. Honestly, I'm done with this nonsense.

Keep at it girls, stay with the fat melting juice (I lol'd at you drinking yours in the car in the garage again amazed, at least I am inspiring you to drink it ;D) I hope all those not working have a fun weekend, and that those working don't work too hard ;)

Not much going on this weekend so the temptations shouldn't come up. Next weekend is GS's birthday party then 2 weeks until Easter and all it's temptations.

LOL! about Easter lunch. I told my sister that I want to bring dessert because if I'm going to "cheat" I want it to be with something I REALLY want :) She is on WW too and understands me :)

I hope everyone does well this weekend and the sickies among us have a chance to rest and recover!

I am still doing good, love it when I feel so in the zone and enjoying it. I would love to have lost another 3 or 4 lbs in the next 12 days, should be achievable but we will see.

I hear you csgoofygirl! I feel so much better when I exercise but for me, I HATE exercising, which is why I stop so often. You'd thing the benefits would give me a better feeling towards it but NOPE! LOL

Tinkeroon, not gaining is GREAT! I think that's where a lot of us give up. We are doing good and then see a gain and say "what the heck?" and move away from our goals. Just think about where you were in January and where you are now :)

I also HATE exercise. DH used to walk the kids to school every morning. When the last one moved on to Jr High he asked me to walk with him and I thought he was NUTS!!! I begrudgingly threw on some old sweats and walked out the door and we had the best time. We go every day (dog makes us now) and I look at it as prep work for Disneyland :) Evening walks are nice too now that the weather is co operating. Just a thought if you can drag Shiva out with you. Walking and talking is lots more fun than walking or exercising by yourself. Really easy to just put on a sweatshirt and a pair of tennies and open the door :)

I'll get off my soapbox now :) I still hate exercise :)

Just about have my stomach issues settled. I'm planning a healthy lunch and dinner for today. Have a meeting I need to go to tonight, which will keep me out of the refrigerator, which is always a good thing.

In less than two weeks I'll be at Disneyland!!! Can't wait.

I have been really good with my food; but like Tinkeroon, I am not losing. And it is getting quite frustrating. Especially since it is Lent and I am not having coffe or chocolate. (I put lots of whole milk in my coffee.) Seems like just those two would take it down a little.
Take care all and keep the faith. I am NOT giving up.

Hey guys. I'm not doing so hot right now. My Crohn's has come back, way worse than before and made things really tough. Because my first flare basically came and went over a week, I didn't really learn anything about it. Now I have to learn what my trigger foods are, so far I've narrowed it down to salad and refried beans. Those two things have caused me so much pain over the past few weeks. It's also caused extreme fatigue and migraines. I have to take advil and tylenol ever 4 hours or the migraine comes back. I also have to be careful how I move or it will come back.

The good news is that I did go to the dr. and got on antidepressants and I think they're finally kicking in. (It's been 8 days, so I've got a long way to go before they take full effect.)

I'm up about 8-10 lbs. (It changes day to day.) I ate like a PIG on the cruise and for awhile after I got home. Now that I've been in so much pain, I'm afraid to eat so at least my volume has lessened.

As you can imagine by my whining, I'm pretty bummed and am not really sure how I'm going to lose weight through all of this. I *can* eat fruits and veggies, they should just be cooked. But, then again, there are some foods that I can eat just fine like tomatoes and fresh salsa. It's the hit or miss thing that's the most frustrating. If I eat the wrong thing, I'm in extreme pain. If I eat highly processed foods, I feel okay. SO SCREWED! I'm so tired, too, that exercising is pretty hard. I went for my usual walk yesterday (gorgeous weather!) and was so tired I could barely stand up for the rest of the night. Pathetic.

I'm hoping that the meds will help me think a little more clearly so that I don't spiral back to where I was. It's kind of a scary time for me, though. Reading about all of the complications from Crohn's is really devastating. I stopped reading it before because I was in remission. Well, now I'm not in remission and I have to learn about it all.

Meh. (Sorry to be Debbie Downer.)

I think it will probably help to do the walks, although it won't feel like it now. Probably best to try to keep with that if you feel you can. {{{{{mele}}}}}

After reading mele's post I can't even complain one little bit...sorta took the wind out of my sails. LOL
iamsally...good for you! Do NOT give up! And have fun in DL! I thought your last trip was it for this year!

Amazed...we WILL get back to walking! The weather is beautiful this week and will make it much easier to do.

smedley...I found the tamari sauce and the chinese five spice. I bought both and am hoping to use it tonight. If not, then before the week is out for sure.

The older I get the less food items I can tolerate-no coffee or chocolate sad to say.
I hope you get a plan that helps you feel better and is easy to keep with. ♥♥
    Keep us posted!!

Speaking of tummy cramps-I did a dumb thing last week----I heard olive oil was good for joint pain so I was told take 2 tablespoons first thing in the morning. Now I had done this when I was 35, along with a capsule of cayenne, a capsule of chopped garlic & some lemon juice. It worked then for cleansing the "tubes". I just didn't think about it. I keep forgetting alot of things like my age since I feel 12 most of the time AND start out slow when making a change in your habits. I was fine until I ate lunch then my whole abdomen went bezerk.
I even got the chills all over. Thought maybe I was having a gall bladder attack tho never had one before but never had so much oil at once before without food.
I finally took a motren which took away the chills & the cramps hung around til next morning. It definitely got my attention! Seem to have to relearn some lessons over & over again....

I did the yoga classes for 2 weeks but now must stop as I am working with my chiropractor to see if we can relieve this pain in my arm & shoulder, (excercise didn't help it). He knows how to relieve the lower back pain and hope he can figure out what it is I am doing to cause the discomfort.
I noticed that my jeans fit tighter now than before but I weigh the same. I forget that happens when you excercise. My fluffiness is compressing. I weigh the same for last month but with more fresh food being offered in the stores I am hoping that will help reduce size. I am doing my Tai Chi & some light excercises mostly for lower body until I know what is wrong with my limb.

I am happy to hear about all of you working on your goals for health and well being & smaller sizes. I am confident we help each other with support & understanding, faith & love!!!
