We always have a snack in the evening. A piece of chocolate or 3oz of ice cream or a cookie. It is when we think we are sly and have a cookie with our ice cream that things start to go south. I am vowing to make a more conscious effort this time. In fact, back when I would binge I actually found it easier to lose. Binge then starve. Had my official weigh in this morning and I am down 5.5lb and 1.5 inches in the last 2 weeks. I know I should be over the moon, but I am pretty sure it would have been more if not for the tooth thing, I have been soooooo good the last 2 weeks! Anyway Prague this weekend, need to be as good as I can for that, I am now down to less than 20lb from goal, which sounds like a lot till you consider I could lose it at the rate of 5.5lb every 2 weeks, the end of May is looking entirely possible

I can limit myself with pizza IF I don't have that glass of wine that usually goes with it :] So good job with the beer! I also LOVE pizza and we do have it once a week. Tradition and all that smeds how long do you cook your tuna steaks? I have the coating for them and now have to actually buy them and cook them I am determined to eat more fish! BTW, I'm not a fan of raw/rare fish so does it have to be rare in the middle like I see it on cooking shows? iamsally, thanks for the vote of confidence I'm just like you, those few extra chips or handful of nuts and I've lost the momentum. Vacations are also diet killers for me. cs, good job on the exercise front! Your body will thank you when you are doing all that walking around DLR! Tinkeroon, trust me, soon you can face that pizza and conquer it!!! Have a great day everyone! We can do this!!!!!

It's time to start paying attention to what I'm eating, because the way I have been eating (pretty much anything I want, whatever is in sight) is certainly not aiding in my weight loss efforts. Sounds like we all are learning about things like portion control, additional water, taking care of ourselves. I have a 24 hour road trip this weekend. Generally that means a feeding frenzy for me. I've got to set my mind to eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm full. And being bored does not equal being hungry! We got about 5 inches of snow last night. So thinking about being at Disneyland on Sunday sounds quite delightful, even if it's crowded. I plan to enjoy the weather and have a good time!

Way to go with the loss!! I really would be over the moon with a loss like that. In two weeks? I'd be ecstatic! Don't be too disappointed...it's wonderful! I got on the scale this morning and was thrilled to see a ONE pound loss! I've been the same for weeks now with NO losses, so to see that the needle had budged a little sent a little shiver of joy through me! Pretty soon I may even have to wear a belt to hold my pants up! LOL Okay...putting the cart before the horse but I can daydream! Have a great day everyone. Be losers!
