Sadly no, Tand.... I get home on the 3rd of October. We're good at just missing each other like that. Of course, we could always arrange a meet on THIS side of the world! :D

The other day I added my "skinny picture" to my BlackBerry to look at when I feel like being naughty. It's from about 6 years ago and I'm around 50lbs smaller than I am now. Anyway, the photo motivation is working pretty well so far but my new favourite treats are these low-fat strawberry chocolate bars, and I bought two today and they're proving hard to resist! Think I need to have a pear and then brush my teeth! Uggghhhh it'll all be worth it in September...

I was only down .4 this week. I blame a meeting the night before weigh in with a delicious buffet and yummy desserts. However I did not go up so that is ok and I did just hit the 30lb lost mark. WooHoo !

I'm pleased to report my "skinny jeans" (ie, the ones I couldn't wear because they were too tight) are now falling off me :) This is going to be my last wear of them I think. Very encouraging! I started my "Bridesmaid Diet" on Saturday and when I weighed yesterday (Monday) I had lost .8kg, or about 1.5lbs. I'm not going to weigh again until next Monday, but I just wanted to check if it was actually working for me - looks like it is so far!

Thanks for the song MP :)

I was as good as I could be at the weekend, which resulted in a 1lb gain today. I can live with that to be honest, it should have been a lot worse ;D I had a conversation with my consultant today, and am going to seriously consider whether or not to switch to maintenance after my next weigh in 2 weeks from now. Although my official target is still around 11lbs away I am starting to feel it's unrealistic, I am currently a comfortable size 10 US at 5'11 and heavy built, so I am not looking to be any smaller really clothes wise, I need to do a lot of toning, probably more that than weight loss now, so I am thinking that so long as 2 weeks takes me into the normal range on my WII Fit I may switch, especially as there's every chance I will still lose a little more on maintenance anyway... Fingers crossed for a good couple of weeks to make the decision easier :)

Being a comfortable size ten is a dream goal of mine. Smedley you are my idol!

Marlin, mickeymeg, smeds and everyone else who has lost so many lbs. you guys are awesome and on your way to a healthier you! Liberty Belle you sound committed :) and you can do it!!! Labuda, congrats on your win! Yell away!

iamsally, now why didn't I think of wrestling goats? :) Tand, maybe we can wrestle our beagles :)

I do have to say that we did a LOT of walking on this trip and in a much higher altitude than we are used to and neither of us felt badly. One thing was 242 steps (I know it was more) down and back up to ruins and I know the weight loss and toning made a world of difference.

MaryP I have a feeling that I'm going to be at a no loss for the rest of the summer but we can keep on with the goal, right? :):)

Tinkeroon, are you back from your trip?

Off to get on the Wii Fit and re commit to journaling on WW online!

Have I missed anyone? Who is here?

    Have a great day everyone!

I only had about half of it. I stuck with salads most of the time but they came in the bread bowl and i love that bread bowl! LOL So that totally defeated the purpose. Then for the drive home DH asked me if I wanted some Kettle Corn (we almost always get it for the trip home), I said NO! But he bought it anyway. How could I not eat it?! It's Kettle Corn! I am afraid of the scale now! But I was good today. I hope I am back on track.

Isn't it funny how we have our little vacation traditions that are hard to break. One of our DLR traditions is to take a Mickey crispy treat and have it at home after we unpack. They changed their chocolate dipping recipe so it's not as good but gosh darned if I didn't buy them anyway when we left in December.

I'm going to Costco today so I plan to take a couple of extra turns around the edges of the store for a boost of exercise :)

Have a great day everyone! We can do this!

Not much weight to lose but miracles needed in the stomach department!!

Tinkeroon, sometimes just being thoughtful about what we eat is enough, onwards and downwards now :)

I've gone down a dress size since I started my diet last year, but haven't invested in much by way of new clothes because I'm still losing weight and I'd rather wait until I go down another size. But I *really* noticed the difference this morning with the extra kilo or two I've lost in the last week! I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made! That's the good news. The bad news is, I have to go shopping so I don't look like I'm wearing clown pants everywhere...

I agree with Smeds, often being thoughtful about what we're taking in is all we need. Keep going guys, you're inspiring! :)
