Since none of us have any money it will be Wendy's where we can get a side salad and I will sneak in a packet of tuna. Good work smedley!! For a BMI of 22 I would be at my college weight. Ain't gonna happen:OP Happiness to all who are trying. I would go for the new blouse for the graduation.

Anyway, I'm posting this because I bought several things for the summer. When I got home and took them out of the bags I found that I had tops that were sizes: Small, Medium, Petite Medium and Petite Large! I didn't realize it because the ladies were bringing me the clothes as they fit or didn't fit and lots of different colors and sizes that I wouldn't have brought in for myself. The funny thing is they all fit me the same. If I was doing the choosing myself I would have never taken the small and been frustrated about the petite large. This is a store with their own clothing, no different brands. Weird huh but a lesson to ignore the sizes sometimes and go with what fits and makes you happy Tinkeroon, maybe a top with an unbuttoned or buttoned over blouse or light jacket would work? Something to make you feel good and will say "This is MY son" Have a great day everyone!

I am being SO good today!!! I go for fasting blood work tomorrow. Then we are picking our grandson up from school to spend the weekend with us Then another mini trip after we drop him off on Sunday. Can you see why I'm getting the bloodwork done first

I get weighed next Thursday, think I will stick with the plan for the following block too (taking me to beginning of June) and then I will switch to maintenance, just in time for our Cornwall trip

Originally Posted By Liberty Belle >>a lesson to ignore the sizes sometimes and go with what fits and makes you happy << That's a good lesson! Although I've gone down a dress size in the last year, I've found it really hard to adapt to buying smaller clothes because I'm afraid they'll be too tight, so I automatically try on and buy the size I've been wearing. The result is I have a few tops that I've worn once or twice and then have to give to my sister or to charity because they're really too big and not flattering! There was one I tried on and it was way too big so I went a size smaller than usual, but it was obviously a reasonably big make because even it looks like a sack on me now. So I have to remember that lesson and try on a couple of different sizes to see what fits best. Down a kilo (2.2lbs) in one and a half weeks now - still slow, but happy, considering I haven't been totally restrained. It's still fairly easy to make good food choices because my taste isn't completely restored with my cold and sinus! Not much point cheating if you're not going to get the enjoyment out of it...

I'm still marching on but it's getting harder to put those exercise clothes on in the morning now that it's getting so cold.

That's part of the reason for the shopping trip, I know the girls will make me try on all kinds of things and hopefully I will come away with lots of nice clothes I wouldn't even have considered trying on

Since then it has been back and forth without any new weightloss to speak of. So here is hoping that this time I will keep moving down. As we head into summer it gets harder to exercise but I just have to make myself get out in the evenings or mornings. With the goats I have been much better about getting up and moving earlier. I think that is a big part of this latest loss. Getting up and moving and getting more sleep. (Yeah, more sleep.) With the new schedule I have been much more tired in the evenings and have had much less insomnia)
