Sounds like everyone is doing great. I am only down .2 lb this week, however, given Mothers day brunch and how busy and stressful this last week has been I am just glad I didn't go up. Next week isn't looking to be any less busy or stressful, however it will not include brunch and it will include moving lots of boxes and a big long hike. So I should be ok so long as I don't find myself destressing in the ice cream carton again. oops.

I wish I had a pool, I love to swim and it is such good exercise too!!

Tand the sucking in and leg kicking really does work, another thing. Try just sucking all the tummy muscles in (imagine a string pulling through the top of your head) while you're sitting at the desk or in the car, hold for 30 seconds, release, repeat, might sound odd but it does make a difference and obviously is using down time to do some core exercise :D Hey if it's good enough for Kate Hudson it's good enough for me ;D

I too love swimming for exercise, but it's too cold to swim here now (at least without a heated pool, and even then I'd dread getting *out* of the pool!) I've been pretty slack with exercise lately - I've got a cold, sinus, sore foot and chest infection that won't go away, and last week I was vomiting as well. I don't want to stress my body out too much by doing much exercise, so I'm just doing a bit of gentle walking atm. Sounds like everyone else is doing really well!

Wish me luck. I was down another .2# this morning.

Congratulations on the losses everyone!!! You guys are doing GREAT, keep it up!!!!

I was up .7 lbs at my weekly weigh in but still under my "goal weight" (reminder this was just a goal set by the nutritionist to see if it affected my blood pressure) I still have more to lose.

So now after a BUSY weekend with our grandson we are in Reno, hanging out and deciding what to do for a few days :) Gotta love the "freebies" :) I did OK yesterday at our DD's house for a belated Mothers Day BBQ. Took another piece of garlic bread :] but OK otherwise. Last night I chose fish tacos. They were small and I've figured out that I don't need a "side salad" to add veggies as they are usually full of cheese and croutons and whatever lettuce that I of course go ahead and eat. I'm better off having some fruit or carrots during the day.

Today I'm starting my day with fruit and some healthy cereal that I brought from home :) The rest of the day I'm going to think "portion control, portion control, portion control" :):)

Thanks for listening to my ramble and have a GREAT day everyone!

I've been OK on this trip. So far so good. I'll see when I weigh on Friday how much I might be fooling myself though.

    Fingers crossed for you smeds!

3 lbs is awesome MP!!!!! Good idea to maintain.

    THIS HASN'T HAPPENED IN YEARS!

Is this attributable to my 14 pound weight loss? Sure feels good!

Amazed, I am sure the scales will be kind, you appear to have this eating and travelling thing down now.

Good day yesterday, still concerned about the official weigh in tomorrow, we will see. I have decided I am going to stay on the weight loss until our trip next month (3 weeks from now) and then going to switch to maintenance, might go back to loss for a bit after depending on how much I put on while I am away and if I am happy with my weight before I go LOL

Stick with it people you can do it!!!!!
