I have slacked off on the exercise since I was sick. I am well now so have no excuse except for being too lazy.

I was naughty while away on holidays, very very naughty... I started with the intention of at least trying to monitor my intake and my exercise, but I wasn't very good. I was staying at my sister's and I used her treadmill three times over the 6 days I was there. In the meantime, I ate... a lot! We had lots of meals out and when home I tended to snack a lot on chips and chocolate, which I don't usually do. So I was pretty bad and I've put on about 5lbs, but I'm not worried because it should settle down by the end of this week, since I'm being extra-good to try to make up for it. 11 weeks today til my USA trip, so it's a good time to settle in and start getting serious (again!) I'm not back at work til next week but I'm trying to be good at home anyway - I always find it so much easier to eat well when I'm at work and really can't snack throughout the day! (I'm a teacher, so I'm pretty much limited to my morning tea and lunch breaks.)

Hope you're all doing better than I am!

That would be a big no :(
I just can't seem to stay on track lately, pizza and chocolate keeps calling me, then I top it all off with a bout of laziness just to compound the calories, lol.

I'm going to try my hardest to stay good until my Pops 80th birthday party on the 24th though :)

One of my MD's said that muscle burns more calories and I do have more muscle tone than I've had in YEARS (thank you Wii Fit :) so I'm hoping that it will help at least a bit :) Not much going on now for a week or so so I have no excuse to NOT stay on track :)

Congrats mickeymeg!! You are doing GREAT!!!

    Have a great day everyone!!

I know that at least they were somewhat healthy but a calorie is a calorie when eaten in volume :p

MaryPoppins, I'm going to join you in your resolve :)

At least what you were eating was healthy! :)

I was good yesterday though, so hopefully I'm back on track... 8 kg (18lbs) in 11 weeks! I can do that, right?! (2kg of it is just what I put on in the last week, so that shouldn't be too hard to shake, at least.)

On another note there is a bowl of corn pops calling my name in the cupboard. Help me ignore it ! =)

I have managed to curb the chocolate intake to my one serving in the evening. I was just craving some after every meal. AND giving in to it.
Hope all are doing well out there.

So, I "took stock" of the past 2 weeks and found that since I hit the MD's first goal weight for me that I've been slacking. An extra glass of wine, handful of nuts (and the infamous nuts and berries episode) a handful of crackers and a whole Starbucks cookie instead of splitting it with DH and the list goes on and on to add up to 2.4
lbs! We also had Wendys for dinner last night so I'm hoping that the sodium alone there is worth the .4 lbs :)

I hope everyone is having a good day! We can do this!!!

Think it will work ?
I am going to go mow the lawn now to help them disapear.

I'm sure mowing the lawn has used up plenty of those dessert calories :)
