So it's running and the gym for me, you know when my stupid knee allows it ;)

The food thing remains a struggle but I will not give in to the beast. I will NOT. Did not buy even one snack at the fair yesterday. Took nuts and cereal bars and such. Even packed in a salad.
But we were so hungry after that we pigged out at Taco Bell.

I am 3 days fully on plan, and Oooooh what a surprise I am feeling great, have more energy and am losing weight, *sigh* I really think I need psychological help sometimes, why the heck do I wander off track when I know I feel so much better this way?? Helps most that the water consumption is back where it should be too, 3 litres yesterday, (looks at amazed) how is everyone else doing??

I can't/won't do classes or the gym. I am so self conscious and I know myself well enough that I'd go once and never go back. Same with weight watcher type meetings. My sisters enjoy classes so I guess that gene just passed me by :) I love my wii fit though :) and the dog makes me walk everyday.

I go to the MD tomorrow for an EKG so that means I get weighed :p Silly that the thought of the EKG doesn't worry me a bit (brother and now mother have issues with their hearts) but that scale freaks me out.

Congratulations to those of you who are hanging in here and doing well :)

If we walk longer or later in the day I bring my water, I promise :)

I did pretty good yesterday. I don't know if I mentioned that I tweaked my back getting dressed on Saturday. Yep, reached down and WHAM I was down. I knew to stretch it out and have been for chiro treatments twice this week. It's cut down on my Wii movements for sure. Stupid back!

Today I have my MD appointment and then I'm going to run a few errands including hitting up the farm stand :) I'll take my lunch with me and 2 water bottles :)

    Have a GREAT day everyone!

OH smedley! I've been using my mango slicer that you recommended last year. 2 of my "kids" were here yesterday morning while I was using it and they were so excited to see it and are going to buy one for themselves. You should be a spokesmodel for them :)

Thank you Smeds and amazed. You reminded me I have a mango in the fridge that is about to go bad. I will have it for my late lunch snack.

I will worry about the frustrating task of knocking off the last few pounds to reach goal next week.

Way to go iamsally and smeds!

I did a bunch of power walking around Target and Costco today :) I bought some protein bars which I was hoping would be yummy but they were just OK. They all seem to leave a "film" in my mouth :p

I am tired tonight, stupid nightshifts, which makes me even prouder to say that I totally refused the pizza I was offered 3 times earlier :p

My tuna salad was perfectly yummy thanks ;)

I do so love mango, even more so when it's in season and a bit cheaper!

I have already hit my water target for the day with 8 more hours of awake time, and 6 and a half hours of work time left, so it's all looking good.

Gym night tonight too, I am going to go regardless of the tiredness, because even if I only do a little it's better than sitting here on my butt for 12 hours straight :p Of course the benefit of an office gym on nights is that I am definitely going to be the only person there ;)

I'm on top of the world today, I tried on my favourite dress from Bloomingdale's (which has hung in my cupboard not able to zip up since September 2006) and it fits me again! Not only that but it actually looks good! I'm guessing I'm actually a bit lighter than I was the last time I wore it 4 years ago (although heavier than I was when I bought it in November '05). I'm so excited! I'm going to wear it to my friend's bridal shower next month :) :) (And, since our new Prime Minister has just called an election for that day, I'll also be wearing it to the polls!)
