Speaking of my plan I have been well and truely off the wagon for the last 3 weeks due to being on vacation and such, and have paid the price :( I am back on track today, but it's probably going to take me 2 or 3 weeks to get back to where I should be *sigh*

I'm on day 3 of the Dukan diet and this morning the scales tell me I am down a total of 2.8 kilos (6.17 lbs) from Sunday. My sister, Fowley, is on this diet with me and she is also down 2.2 kilos (4.8lbs). I'm still feeling good and am finding myself a lot less hungry. Also if I see something like chocolate or cheesecake I still want it but I'm able to shrug it off and not think about it again. After dinner I still have a sweet craving but a cup of Rooibos & Vanilla tea (thanks smedley) satisfies that and adds to my water total.
We are off to Sea World tomorrow so I'll see how easy it is to stay on track with fast food around me.

If anyone is interested in this diet I found a site that explains it a little better than I can :)

I am still fully on track, chugging back on the water as we speak (where is amazed anyway? I hope everything is ok with her and there haven't been any setbacks for their SIL)

But now, quite suddenly, and for both of us; we are eating more and still losing!!!!! I guess it really takes some time to purge the crap out of your system.
We are both being lazy in the exercise area and I am bound and determined to get us back on track there as well.

Best wishes to all who are working on it out there.

That is really great Mary Poppins. I know what you mean about the sugar though. It is in everything.
We use plain yogurt now with a little maple sugar, honey or stevia in it. Or smashed up fruit.

We left the tasty looking breading, the steak fries and the dipping sauces alone which I feel is a big accomplishment for me.
Yesterday I had lost another 700 grams and this mornings loss was only 200 grams but it's still a loss and brings the total lost for the first 4 days of this diet to 3.6 kilos (7.93lbs). I also think that a few of my bulges are shrinking a bit so YAY!!!
Good luck to us all on this bumpy wagon ride :D

I'm oddly still doing well. I've been so tired lately that we've "had to" go the fast food route a couple of times but both times we naturally made wise choices.

I'm weighing myself tomorrow before we leave to go and help out with our SIL. I'm hoping to see good numbers to keep motivated.

iamsally, I used your idea and made up little chocolate and nuts baggies for DH and I to have in the evenings. smeds, I'll be sure to drink my water, the weather is a lot hotter where they live than we are used to.

Today I start the cruise stage of the diet which requires me to alternate days of protein only with days of protein plus the allowed vegetables and I stay on this stage until I reach my goal weight.
The one amazing thing about this diet is I rarely get cravings for junk and when I do crave anything it is easy to mentally shrug it off, so that's a good thing for me.
I'm glad to hear so many of us are doing well after all, we are fighting the good fight :)

Good work on 4 easily lost lbs Amazed. I love when weight just sneaks away like that.

I had a really good weigh in last week. I was somehow down 2 lbs. I didn't see that coming. However it hasn't been the best week. There have been a few eating out nights and just last lazy nights of not wanting to make anything too healthy. I hope I haven't gone right back up for weigh in tomorrow.
