I went to the MD yesterday because I developed a hives while out of town. It was like a sunburn/rash and after a lot of googling I traced it to a med I was on. She agreed and now my only option is to exercise a LOT more. I'm mentioning this because I was weighed :p I didn't expect it :p I was up 5 from my low a couple of weeks ago, but I've just come off a week of being away from home and I'm hoping that's the reason. Sigh. I can't seem to break that cycle. Maybe I need to stay home :p

Now to decide how I am going to do that exercise. Not exactly how, but what will I do that I won't hate? hmmmmm. Think, think, think.........

Hope all goes well with the knee Smedley.

Ok, so... when I got married in the summer of 2000, I wore a size 20. This time last year, I was in a size 24 that barely fit,a bout to go up to a size 26.

Yesterday after work, I went shopping because I need new jeans. Lo and behodl when I tried the size 20, they were TOO BIG. And I ended up buying size 18.

I'm not about to fool myself into thinking I'm anywhere near done, but

    Oh
    My
    GOD

I am wearing a size 18 for the first time in over a decade. I am thrilled beyond words. It is so rewarding to know that the 75+ hours of Jazzercise I've done are paying off, and the better choices I'm making around food are paying off.

Thanks to all for the support here - it rocks to know that I'm not the only person facing the daily struggle to eat right and be healthy. :)

I can relate with the creepage thing...it took me 2 years to put on this weight and its fruestrating that after 2 weeks of NutriSystem I've only lost 6 ponds...but I'm going the right direction and that feels good...I've really had a re learning experience in what a true portion size is again...

I am still frustrated. I was only down .2 this morning despite trying so hard this week. I have sneezed and lost more weight than that.
I am within 3 lbs of gaol right now, but just can't seem to shake the last few.

Mickeymeg I've heard that the last few pounds are the hardest to shake off (of course I'd like to be in a position to try lol).

I'm still all zoney but have only lost 200 grams this week, I'm thinking it's a bit of water retention though because the tape measure tells me I've lost 2cm off my hips, 3cm off my waist and 1cm off my *ahem* chest :)

I've been biking 10 miles a day for the last 3 months & lost 4 pounds :( muscle weights more than fat so I go with that!! I'm 42, wear a bikini & look better than most girls half my age. So Amen to that.

By the way, I just bought a Guess bathing suit that was originally $135- for $15!! It's tie dye & has fringe. It's kinda hippie & I can't wait to wear it next year!!

Stay on the right path everyone!!

Food has been spot on too, having a chill out day today, but I did do some squats on the wobble board this morning and a little bit of kettlebell swinging, I figure it's better than nothing ;) Hopefully the scales will start to be kind soon!

Might go for a walk after lunch see what the weather is like and how I feel :)

    Keep on keeping on everyone

If I say I'll do it on paper, I do it for a day and forget about it. I need a "program" to keep me losing. I'd like to lose another 5lbs this fall and KEEP it OFF before Christmas. It's not much and should be more but it's reasonable with a Reno and DLR trip plus the holidays, dare I say Pumpkin Pie? :)

Those figures sound totally doable too (is it wrong I am hoping to lose that much in the next 2 weeks? LOL!)

Feeling great, right on plan food wise and fitting in some exercise too (knee torture was this morning lol) so why the heck do I let myself waiver when I know I feel so much better on plan?!?!? lol!

Oh well hopefully back to around target soon, definitely would like to have lost 5lbs before I head to Spain at the end of the month at least...
