What is with weekends and starting fresh on Monday? Anyway that is my goal. I have NOT been all that bad but evidently slipping and sliding and vacationing have done havoc with my cholesterol levels. What the heck? So I do WW to keep myself honest but use foods that are heart healthy and hope to lose some weight along the way. Hi iamsally, I noticed your absence, I'm glad you are back Congrats on keeping the weight on hold with everything you've been going through!!! Tand, congrats on your success! I love how you posted how you are the smallest you've been since you started losing in 2008! I'm sure we've all been there. I know I have. mickeymeg, yes it will come off You are doing great! Slow and steady wins the race remember ophelia, we pronounce it Or uh gun. Now you have me wondering if that's right Our soon to be DIL's parents live in Tillamook Until they moved there I never knew that was where Tillamook cheese came from. oredisney, you are doing GREAT! Labuda, you are so right about forcing yourself to get back on track! Have a great day everyone!

I sat and watched football all day and did not make good food choices ie anything quick and easy....gained a little from that. That is the bad news but on the flip side I felt terrible physically from my bad choices and today feel much better after getting back on track. Question? how to get through football season and stay active...

My bp has been higher than usual and I think that is what is causeing it but doctors say it is an inner ear infection? what do I know? the exercising is actually helping with the dizziness, I seem to have it less often.
Originally Posted By smedley yeah if you have dizziness issues then a stationary bike definitely sounds like a better option! Much easier to give your football the attention it deserves that way too! Oh and another teensy tip. If you know you're going to be watching football all day, then you could do as I would if I was going to work the next day, and prepare yourself a salad, pop it in the fridge, and then it's there and easy for you while you're watching the football

I think getting up to milk a goat is just keeping me in a healthier place all around. I found a yogurt maker at a thrift store and have enjoyed making and eating homeade goat yogurt. I have also been making pudding a couple times a week. Saturday I put up 5 quarts of marinara sauce from our own tomatoes and basil.

We've had them in the past only to become coat hangers or towel dryers. I don't mind the Wii or the walking but if I'm home in the afternoon I like to watch my soaps. I don't sit and watch them, they are just on. It would be nice to cycle for awhile. Hmmm. Now to find one that isn't the size of a dinosaur. I'm frustrated with WW. I joined to use the online tools and they aren't working. No tech support via phone, only through email. grrrrr. I should have just got out the paper and pencil for the journaling. Other than that, I am doing really well with my foods. My sister has successfully lowered her cholesterol numbers via diet and exercise (as I had) so I called her for a pep talk yesterday and she gave me lots of good ideas so I'm re motivated. Have a great day everyone!

Sigh. Tand, thanks for the link! That would be perfect for me. The bikes I've had in the past also work the arms which is great BUT I always end up throwing out my back with the arm part, thus the bike becoming a coat rack. Congrats on your numbers! Do you have an eating plan for when you come to DLR? I'm home with grandson today so no excuses with my foods or exercise! Have a great day everyone! We can do this!
