Two more things for my anger list:

110+ degree heat in the desert
    Our wind/sand storms

"Enrage" would probably be a more accurate word, actually. LOL

the best in the world...Hugs and kisses can't be beat! and you get paid right on the spot! :D ( I guess I should have saved that last part for the things that make me happy thread.)

Well MoP, I can tell you this is very hard to do because feet come in all shapes and sizes and shoes unfortunately aren't a "one size fits all" kinda thing. I know this because I am a professional footwear consultant.

And yes, I realize you meant that figuratively. ;-P

<any person who would dare make a negative comment about stay-at-home moms, as I'm CERTAIN they have the hardest job on the planet!>

I actually think stay-at-home *dads* do, but I'll give the moms second, lol. :)

The set up, I'm renting rooms from my dad and the room I'm in needed a lot of work on all surfaces, the ceiling had a hole, the walls were in bad shape and the carpet was shot.
Due to several factors it wasn't practical to start work until I'd already been here a couple weeks so all my stuff and most of Kyles has been sitting in boxes in the garage.
So, I finally get the ceiling and walls done and pull up the carpet and 44 year old linolium and it's time to look for flooring. I've already complained about the cost of DYI carpet tile, so that's out. Last Wednesday (couldn't go on Tuesday because of the holiday) I shop around and finally order carpet from Carpeteeria. I indicated to the sales man I was in a hurry and could it be done by the end of the week. He said no, but it could be done Monday or Tuesday. I give them my down payment and arrange for him to come out and measure Thursday at noon. He was late, but that wasn't too big a deal. He takes my cell number and says his biggest problem is getting in touch with customers to schedule. I'm in a hurry to get this done, so I put off going to movies and the store and everything to make sure I'm available.
    Thursday afternoon: nothing
    Friday all day: nothing
    Saturday all day: nothing
Sunday: I figure they're closed so I go to Costco on the busiest day of the week
    Monday AM: nothing
So I call, sales man is off and hasn't left his layout or any info with anyone for scheduling, they say they will call me first thing in the morning.
Today AM: nothing, I call them and ask for a manager, but they give me the sales guy who gives me excuses and puts me on hold for scheduling.
So, after indicating I'm in a hurry I finally get scheduled for Thursday and they act like they are doing me a favor!

If this so and so sales dude had gotten my stuff to scheduling when he got back to the office Thursday I'd be unpacking today, but no he puts it off and then takes 3 days off!
This leaves me almost NO time to get my stuff out of the garage before I leave on my trip on Saturday. I'm living in my son's room, using my ditty bag toilettries and all my stuff is taking up room in the dining room and garage while my dad is working on an engine for a race coming up with almost no room and oh yeah my kid is sharing floor space with the dog at night.
There is my rant about what officially has made me angree this week.

    Thanks for noticing.

    In a minute.

Parenting for the most part is less stressful and much more rewarding than a "real" job.

I loved the fact that my mom was a stay-at-home mom, and I would hope that all kids could have that advantage.

But let's not get carried away about who has it tougher... stay-at-home-moms or "working" moms. Working moms face everything the stay-at-home-moms face plus have to put in 40 hours at their paid job.

It shouldn’t be a contest. I don’t know why so many people want to make it one.

Are you sure about that? The "stressful" part I mean, lol...especially with men. Animal Planet says stay-at-home dads have a lot more stress than working dads.

As far as I'm concerned, yes.

Stressful to me is working your butt off at a job and then sitting at the end of the day questioning if you have made the world one tiny bit better by your efforts.

Any minute a parent spends with their child makes the world better without question.

You tell me what is more stressful.

Don't you think a better judge of that would be someone who has done *both* rather than someone who says he'd like to be able to be a say at home parent?
