It just annoys me more to hear someone who isn't Southern fake the accent just because it's country music. But most of country music irritates the heck out of me, anyway, so there ya go. ;-)

They don't want a Norah Jones, they want a Whitney Houston. I haven't seen Simon, Randy, and Paula ask for from any of the auditioners this year is to sing a second, different song. A few of the people they have passed on (and also sent to Hollywood) I would have wanted to hear more before making a decision. Maybe they have, but just haven't aired them... I dunno.
Originally Posted By Dabob2 I liked the female country singer. She had quite a good voice, so I'm glad she got through. What annoyed me last night was the "Stuck in the Middle" montage. They obviously had TOLD all the bad singers to sing that song - maybe even taught it to some of them, since many were too young to know it, probably. For sure, there's no way THAT many singers chose to do that particular song for their audition. So they told them to do it, just so they could cut all the bad singers together in a montage for us to laugh at. I hate that.

We zap though the montages, a waste of time, well not that the whole show isn't but you know what I mean So are we finally off to Hollywood next week?

I really liked the girl whose Dad just passed away. I admire her courage and strength and know I couldn't do what she did! I was blubbering like Paula. I'll have to check out that site Mele. It sounds funny!
