I like to stand on the bridge and watch for the jumping fish!

Frankly, I'm really hurting for a good quiet spot without the Disney Gallery. The area between Zorcalo and the tunnel to Carnation Plaza (a near private restroom there too) is pretty quiet most of the time. Most people either don't know or don't think to go through there. The Hungry Bear as others have suggested. The Walt Disney Story at the Opera house is generally quiet except for the announcement for the show. Also draws the more "dedicated fans." The gardens where the Motor Boats used to be (unless Nemo line is going through there). The Lilly Belle car on the Train is pretty quiet. You have to ask a conductor if it is available (they will try and accomodate you if they can).

We could see the Halloween themed lights coming off the mansion and the Tim Burton-y creepy music box music was playing all around us and the sounds of the park were totally gone. It was creepy and peaceful and magical all at once. Very very cool.
