I was going to ask, being that you are a professed Christian, what is your take on Acts 4:32 - 5:11?

According to the passage in the book of Acts they shared EVERYTHING, not just a portion of their wealth that they were comfortable parting with. From what I inferred from the passage the only Christian community members who were at risk were those who withheld their money as God would strike them dead. I ask because far too many Protestant Pastors these days equate accumulating personal wealth as a Christian trait, even though we are warned to not gather treasure on Earth because thieves will steal it and rust will consume it and are told to instead build treasure in Heaven. There are Christian communities that live this way even today. No doubt it requires a great deal of trust to share one's wealth with others, plus we have been programmmed by our capitalist society into accumulating wealth. It's also base human nature to be greedy, so to live the way the early Christians did would probably be impossible for most people.

Should we even try to live like this?

I did this b/c even though we kept paying 600 dollars to get rid of this skin disease as soon as we got rid of it, it would come back within a day or two. She was suffering, my bank account was suffering, and it just seemed like it was the best thing to do. Now I have a alaskan husky right now. She is a great dog, but she recently was hit by a car. Her treatment cost us 8,000 dollars. THankfully the guys helped otherwise she owuld of been asleep 2. But anyways the reason we paid that much is b/c she is now healed. SO part of it is to decide in if the animal can be healed, and also if its in your budget. I love my dogs, it was hard putting my shih tzu to sleep. I can't even imagine what I would do w/o penny or osama, but I would do whats best for them.
