I know I have herd some great rumors from CMs, other than beastly kingdom and mount Fuji...

The very DAY this goes on sale, I am going to turf (sell) about 300 Non-Boardwalk points (Saratoga and Beach Club) and replace them with Contempo DVC. And then ... ahhh ... sit back and relax. A week or so in the Spring at Boardwalk, and a week or so in the Fall at Contempo...life will be good. Oh yeah... Contemporary DVC here I come baby! Don't hate the playa' hate the game yo.

I have not stayed at the AKL Villas so I don't know about that one. I wish the DVC would stick to the origianl concept of stand alone resorts. Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West are where it's at. What's next? A budget DVC at All Star? It's getting out of hand. For the record, I am opposed to the addon at the Contemporary, but I suppose they are doing it to try and fill an otherwise low occupancy rate there. Why else?

In the end, I know nothing about what Disney has planned, only what I've read from people I don't personally know on these boards who just seem to have some credibility. So, how can I argue with any authority on the subject? However, we can all think for ourselves, learn about the way the company operates, and decide for ourselves what we will believe. In the end that's the best thing to do. Don't argue with the CM, don't report the person, don't make a big scene. Just let it be. If one of the guests asks me about the rumor later, I tell them what I think, but if not then I say nothing.

Meanwhile rumors still suggest that not only will Spectromagic be retired by 2009, but the parade may be rehabbed and sent to California Adventure for 2010. Don’t look for the Main Streel Electrical Parade to return for another run either how, since our sources indicate that the plan is to send it to China whenever they are ready to open their new Shanghai park. So either the park will have to get two entirely new parades, so borrow a show from Japan. Anyone know more? (9/27/07) We’ve heard a rumor that Disney may be thinking of sending the Parade of Dreams from Disneyland to the Magic Kingdom sometime around 2009. Around the same time, I hear there is talk about finally retiring SpectroMagic for good as well, which means that they’ll need a new replacement for that too, unless they decide to bring back the Main Street Electrical Parade for yet another run. I hope this is true, anything that involves getting ride of the Disney Dreams Come True Parade is a good thing.
