At one point I think I knew every episode of Are you being served, by heart. Also loved Keeping up appearances and As time goes by. Oh that's right, I'm half English.

You forgot (maybe on purpose) to mention my husband's favorite, Benny Hill.

You must be walking around a completely different Epcot than the one I walked around back in January. With the vast cutbacks in entertainment there's now (unfortunately) not a lot to like with Epcot.

Welcome to the LP WDW discussion forums. I certainly hope you enjoy yourself here, and participate as much as time permits.

Any man who would fish in the Seven Seas Lagoon, using a hot dog from Casey's Corner while staying at the Poly, has to be a Benny Hill fan.

That is a little bit of an overstatement...just because they let go a couple performers who contracts were up that equates to vast cutbacks. Please...I see you do not mention at that same time they built Mission Space, Soarin and transformed the living seas.

If you consider the lack of street entertainment at Epcot just letting the contracts of a few performers expire. TWDC probably could use you on their management team. I'm talking about a Park I deeply love feeling lifeless to me for the first time ever. I refuse to settle for less while paying more.

I couldn't disagree more. I haven't been since 2006, and at that point I thought it had the kenetic energy of roadkill.

That is ruining it for us who do love to stop and enjoy. Maybe they'll stop for Flower Power, but not that many stop for the Living Statues, British Invasion, Jugglers, tumblers etc. We were there the week after Sept 11th. Noon time and we practically had WS to ourselves. We were walking around Italy, and the Masquerade troup came out, they performed only for the 5 of us, and one gdaugher was asleep. Talk about feeling special. At the same time I felt so bad for the performers to have only us to put on the show for.

I'ts interesting even to myself that I want to go so bad - My last trip to WDW was 2007 - Had a great time.

I am hoping they will have some deals going on then.

It is very expensive - But worth it to me. At least for now - If the prices go up much more...I guess I need to find another place to go.

Beware all you Disney Executives who are OKing these incredible price hikes - You are losing some incredibly loyal fans. Hopefully you care about that.

The Monoliths were designed by John Hench...the same person who designed Spaceship Earth. They are great art and actually very beautiful. IMO.
