My feeling is RoL was killed because of Rasulo's desire to open the boutique animal park. Why would folks pay $300 a head for that if they had a reason to be at DAK at night? I hope the boutique park is truly dead and buried ... then we may see DAK after dark as a regular option.

If you illuminate the Animal areas at night, it's not really a humane option for the animals and their daily rhythm. So, the biggest people eating attraction at the park is down for the night. So would be most of the walk-thru exhibits. There just isn't that much attraction capacity left to absorb the people that aren't on the safari ride or wandering around paths looking at animals that can't be seen at night.

Why appeal to the commoners, when you can soak the wealthy? >> I hope the boutique park is truly dead and buried ... then we may see DAK after dark as a regular option. << I hope so too. I thought it was a bad idea from the get go. People were actually willing to call this a 5th gate.

You know that thing that Disney is suppose to be loaded up with. Besides I already stated they would have to launch something like Beastly Kingdom to truly make the Park an 8 til 9 Park. I bet they already have existing plans that mostly could be implemented.
